A BOSS at a top football club was part of a feared mob of Turkish thugs, The Sun can today reveal.
Sheffield United director Selahattin Baki, 38, was filmed boasting of his violent past with Fenerbahce’s notorious hooligan gang Kill For You.

Baki brags of the “non-stop action” and chillingly adds: “Sometimes knives start talking.”

In the 2007 footage, for Danny Dyer’s Real Football Factories, he also admits hurling a flare at friends — because they are fans of Istanbul rivals Galatasaray.

He arrived at League One Blades last month after helping pal Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Mossad buy a 50 per cent stake and was instrumental in the appointment of manager Nigel Clough last month.

After emergency talks with Baki last night, United board member Jim Phipps said: “In the years since those youthful indiscretions, he has demonstrated better judgment.”

On a plus note we are described as 'A top football club'

So the makers of that programme contact a Turkish national but English public school educated fan to talk about football violence in Istanbul.

I've watched the programme and of course football support is insane in that city. Baki makes himself look an idiot but I'm far from convinced he would have been that active. Stupid to agree to be a mouthpiece.

They do however interview some knuckleheads and Danny going to the Fenerbache Galatasary derby is worth watching.

Of course there is a lot on the tragic Leeds visit to Galatasary which is extremely grim.

Toby Foster tried to stir some shit up this morning on his show. Paul Walker tired to put him straight by saying that he had actually watched the programme and the only thing linking Baki to any sort of violence is an admission he once through a flare at an opposing fan (would fit in with 'H' block then :-) . The other comments Baki made were just saying what he knew the fans group did.

Foster still tried to stir things up, but Walker basically said that it was over 6 years ago and not really relevant now and in effect thought it wasn't much of a story as 'people change'.

Obviously the pigs will make things up as they go along and Blades Mad will go on their normal anti-Radio Sheffield rant when anything vaguely critical of the Blades is mentioned.

Who really gives a shit, eh? Apart from pig fans and that fat, dingle, slitty eyed cunt and chief Blades hater Foster. Who hasn't taken part in gesturing, chanting, macho posturing and minor loutish behavior when their main rivals roll into town? Complete non-story. Move along now, nothing to see...

We have all done things in our youth that you sit back and shake your head at now.For a paper to make a story out of this is typical of supermarket rags that they put at the grocery checkout line.Right next to the aliens mating with wendy fans story.

Absolutely right, and if anyone believes Big Jim had emergency talks with Mr.Baki or anyone else.......

Vicky Orvice of the Sun blasting this around Twitter.

Shes a Unitedite you know?

However she was furious when our new investors come on board & has probably been digging around for stuff to throw for weeks.

Who gives a shit what that bastion of moral decency The Sun says anyway Its nothing but a joke these days & the sooner it goes out of print the better.

It's all kicked off on twitter now. Baki isn't coming to the game on Saturday now.

I believe it's more or less a none story but I suspect he had some mate in the media who persuaded him to do the interview. Very silly as it's a permanent record and will get dragged up time and again.

To say that I am an ex-hooligan is an insult enough but to add that I was a part of a mob gang? I think the gent who wrote the article has a great imagination. He should try his luck in Hollywood, he'll get an oscar for best script.

There was a Cedric Orvice that worked at SUFC in the early 1970s. I think he worked in the Lane Social club or something like that and he was featured in a match programme (1971-72, I think). Is Vicky related to him?

We have all done things in our youth that you sit back and shake your head at now.

Like the time in my early twenties when I was in Fannys at Owler Bar one Saturday night. I copped off with two hairdressers from La Coupe and went back to their house with them. 30 years on, I still shake my head in disbelief at that one.

See him in court then. Yours or his. Who has the best script?

I once gave a Coventry fan a REALLY stern look.

I'm fuckin' mental, me.

I once tried to get a chant "of you're so shit it's unbelievable" started at Southampton. No-one else joined in.

A whole new sub-thread of "most pathetic hoolie ever" starts here...

Hows about bricking a coach full of Stoke fans from the Gatefield social club on Abbeydale Road after a night match. Finding out the next day at school it was a bingo coach full of old women ,made the headlines in the Star too :(

Interesting points. I agree, if it's all in the past and many years ago, it should be forgotten. Doesn't stop them locking up the occasional 90-year-old Nazi, though.

Think there's a family resemblance?
