Brandy and Flynn are not answers - from what Clough has been saying he likes the ball out wide. Hopefully he will realise that neither of these two will ever produce enough. He needs to find someone who can play wide right, maybe a loan player.

8 games missing due to suspension is bad for a full season, that for less then half way through the season is inexplicable. I like his pace as it's always a threat when he can stay on his feet but his temperament is exactly what we don't need right now.

Oh, I don't have sympathy for him, just thing this whole "hands on is a sending off rule is a bit silly. But as ever in this day and age, refs are not allowed to make subjective judgments.

Player gets fouled and fouler then goads foullee. Foullee reacts by pushing fouler. Taking the provocation into account, I would say that a sensible decision would be a yellow for both players and a warning that any more crap like that and they will be off. However, given the rigid law, the ref cannot apply that level of common sense.

Agreed, he scythed through the MK Dons player, no excuse there. I sometimes have sympathy for someone sent off for retaliation but he's supposed to be professional. Absolutely no regard for his team mates or management team when we are in a desperate position in the league and losing in this game. FFS, he'd been brought on to change our fortunes and lasted 9 minutes.

Just what exactly does Brandy offer? He came with the promise of being a skilful, tricky winger but aside from the first game has done bugger all. He looks for a free kick every time he is challenged, instead of looking to beat his marker and carry on running. Not to mention being a petulant little shit.
I think he will leave us for a smaller club and probably do well again. He seems to be one of those players who thinks thinks he is better than everyone else, wants to be the main man but when he goes to a large club with players of a more equal standard, realises that he isn't.

Yesterday we were still going for promotion. Today we have a squad full of shite.

Maybe now we can stop talking bollocks about making the play offs. 5th from bottom would be a good achievement, barring a spending spree in January. An i don't think anybody really expects that to happen.

As for Brandy, i dunno. Yet another "great singning" that we could be stuck with, cos nobody else wants him. I really do wish fans would stop proclaiming new signings before they've actually done anything. The way people go on with Brandy, Cuvelier, Baxter, King and whoever else you'd think we'd signed world class internationals. Then the lot end up doing shit.

King is a clapped-out old carthorse, like Kitson, that nobody else wanted. He may score the odd goal or two, but he's not going to turn us into Real Juventus. He wasn't a major coup as some people like to believe. The rest are just ordinary league one standard players like Flynn that can have good games and have bad games. We have a squad full of these already.
