Could have gone either way. Quite impressed with Portsmouth. Think they’ll pick up points soon.

We were pretty average. Decent away point in the end.
Thought we were cautious but did try and open things up when we could, probably edged it on decent chances.

Decent point against a side that looked organised and pressured us as well without really causing too many big problems

Disappointing as we created a lot of chances and had nothing to show for them but I'm not wholly unhappy with a point there. Wasn't the ref shite though?

Another clean sheet for Cooper. Well done. Shame Blades didn't get a win today with Black Cats and Baggies loosing.

Pompey were a much better team than expected so fair play to them on that.. But I can really see something off about our squad, half the time they're dicking around, not really getting out of first gear... Still though, 7 games in undefeated, I'll take it

wilders got to sort the front four out not enough threat at all o'hare needs benching for these home games get hamer more central and bring brooks in
It's been said a few times now that our front 4 are not really working + O'Hare has been under par - surely Wilder will acknowledge this now + make some changes ?
Is he worried that dropping O'Hare will upset Hamer ?

Agreed on both points.

Fairly even game and we weren't exactly at our best, so satisfied with a point and another clean sheet.

I can't understand why Wilder didn't put Hamer central when he took O'Hare off. Brewster has never been a '10' and Hamer's quality is wasted out wide a lot of the time, in my opinion.

We are getting lots of touched in the opposition box and it's just not dropping for us into clear cut chances.

Unsure if we are just unlucky or making wrong decisions/not executing the final pass well enough

Think a draw away at Portsmouth is decent.

Positives were
1: Yet another clean sheet, even when under pressure we just don't look like conceding.
Totally reversal of last season, gone from having one of our worse defences in years to one of our best defences in years.

2: Rak Sakyi pulled his finger out and was our biggest threat all match. Well played....needs to be show consistency now.

Some positives there but… I think our lack of a genuine goalscoring striker is starting to make us overplay. We’re trying to over engineer situations rather than go for a clinical option. Undefeated and the defence looks fantastic, but I do wonder whether we’ll regret not getting another attacker in.
