Jebbo

I was never enamoured with Jebbison, I think it was the stupid penalty he gave away against Man City that did it for me. Half hearted, thick as shit challenge. He always looked half interested, either slightly up for it or picking his nose up front. And if the rumours are true, playing big bollicks? For one goal at Everton? I think I could score against them.

In his defence, I think he was suffering from a blood clot in his leg for a lot of that time, allegedly caused by a member of our medical team?

But I think he has been messing the club about for some time, saying he’d sign then changing his mind and eventually moving to Bournemouth. (I know someone, who worked in the service industry, who was tasked with assisting Daniel for quite a long time and she, unusually, didn’t have a good word to say about him)
It seems he has a rather over inflated opinion of himself and is not the most popular young lad to have passed through the academy. I think his most recent contract retraction, was probably what motivated Chris Wilders plea that he hoped Jebbison would get a ‘hostile’ reception upon his return.

So if you didn’t like the booing, blame Wilder !
I’ve been out of the loop a bit with the Jebbison business. I’ve and social media in general. I’ve seen a few mentions of him being “big time” etc but is there anything specific that have made people turn on him other than the contract situation?

"I tried my hardest to change his mind. I got a lovely text off him afterwards but he wanted to make that move.

"He's another one that wanted to play at a different football club. I respect that. I hope we make it as hostile as possible and he gets a proper Bramall Lane reception. He’s an opposition player coming into our backyard on Sunday.

"I'm sure everybody will understand my attitude and feeling towards it but I've no issues with Jebbo. He had a few injuries here and there are lessons learned hopefully now, in terms of young players and contractual situations.

"We did a deal with a young player going one way and an experienced player coming the other way. [Chief executive] Steve Bettis managed to get that deal done. We lost one that we didn’t really want to lose, we tried our best to keep him, and we brought one in that we’re delighted with.”

Based on the gaffer's own words there, I'm still struggling to see where the hatred was deserved.

Reading between the lines not your strong point, I take it?

Fuck off with the woke nonsense, He’s a disrespectful little Wanker. The way he treated the club and, by extension, the supporters was disgraceful. You saw today what the players and coaching staff think of him.
Woke 😂

I’m sure jebbison will be fine when he looks at his bank account. Booing just added to the atmosphere and added to what was a great hostile aggressive contest. It’s nothing personal, but I don’t think he liked it, and with him being the opposition main goal threat then I’d say we were a good 12th man today

He’ll be another player - to add to many many in the game…. Who sadly listen too much to the hype & agents and think they are better than they are. I’ll be surprised if he ends up in his career at much more than mid table Championship.

As high as that.

Woke ?

Woke ????

Hilarious.

Booing is for cunts. WHATEVER the circumstances. Stick that in your Woke basket.

Booing is perfectly allowable in the right circumstances.

Booing the referee, booing the management and booing entitled pricks who didn't put a shift in when they were paid by us, and showed no loyalty whatsoever is perfectly acceptable.

Not sure about the woke crap, but booing Jebbison today is freedom of choice.

FWIW, the boos were widespread and very loud. He'll be under no illusion what S2 thinks of him.

I think Wilder is doing one of his little cunning things of being economical with the truth with Jebbo.

As a few others have alluded too, you only had to look at all the players and staff, they had nothing to do with Jebbo, even at the end, the bit where you’re all supposed to shake hands, they just fucked him off.

Clearly something has gone off and Wilder is the reason he wanted us to give him an hostile reception, he got it and it helped us along the way, correct decision and good management of the situation.

I’ll tell you what though, if Cleverley could rewind time I reckon he wouldn’t have brought him on to the pitch, it took everything out of their little sails, the little they had left anyway as we controlled it for most parts.

I won’t be booing McBurnie Clarke or any other player on to the pitch, while on the pitch, or leaving the pitch.

I never have done. I never would do. Hope I’ve explained my reasons as to why. Got a bit more about me than to lower myself. Make of that what you wish.

Read the likes your posts are getting.

Glad you think you're 100% right and everyone else is wrong.

Keep on keeping on......

not normally a boo-er if that's the word. Today I feel was justified.

I had no idea idea it was larouchi and wondered why people were clappying him. Didn't hear many boos for him.

I didn’t boo either of them because I was indifferent about both of them. I’m not sure having read this whether I was right or wrong.

Which part of "as hostile as possible" are you struggling with?

Are you really a Blade or one of these AI’s?

He's had a chip on his shoulder about a player who would score 20 plus goals this season in this team.

His judgement is laughable.

Getting upset about the reaction to Jebbo is nonsensical when you look at how most of our staff reacted to him today.

I remember when we won promotion under hecky at BL all players were celebrating yet Jebbison wasn't joining in and almost looked sad so perhaps he wasn't popular amongst the rest of the team. He does have a bit of arrogance & attitude (lots of footballers do) but also seemed a bit of a loner.

He’s a very strange bloke. Spent McBurnie’s whole tenure here slagging him off 😂😂
At least I waited a couple of years before I weighed in on Brewster!

Would like to get DronnieBlade view on Rhian given we know his view on strikers who he perceives to be poor value for money?!

On the subject of booing. Can anybody who booed Laruchi today please explain why?
I’d have clapped him and thanked him for being wank for a divisional rival.

Having missed the game today how did Jebbo and Larouci do?

Never really rated Jebbison and would be surprised if he was any good.

Larouci would have to a Coutts/Souza type improvement to be any good.

Larouci must have had flashbacks to last season as Jesurun tormented him.

Tbf I quite like the lad irrespective of his ability but he was hooked early for a reason.

Jebbo did nothing apart from start a bit of bollocks.

Licence to boo opposition and refs
Will never boo my own team. Just won’t do it
