With the money we have received there is no excuse not to strengthen our striking options.

I think the Mr Moody might be part of the S6 clubAh you're one of the "Weez Moneh" crew. Gotcha. That explains a lot![]()
Apologies Ic already posted, but Cannon has gone to Stoke.just cant believe were not bringing another striker in were in big trouble if we get a couple of injuries unforgivable imo letting 3 strikers go and only bringing 1 in
Would you seriously give him large sums of money to spend after what happened last time? Our new owners are setting up CW for a failure. No top 6 by January, out he goes. We all knew our weakness in the team, not to address them is criminal.
I am not a CW fan, but he deserves better.

Maybe the players he wanted weren’t available or didn’t want to come here.He only wanted a couple more loan players.
im afraid whether hes a pig or not hes correct absolutely unforgivable that we havent brought another striker in i cant believe it my big hopes of top 6 for us are dissapearing fast

Grow up we all have our own opinions.I think the Mr Moody might be part of the S6 club![]()
You can't say that you will be accused of being from S6Shit strikers.
I rest my case.
This club drives me up the fucking wall.
Hung out to drySo strange how Wilder went from saying it would be a busy week and wanting 3 to us seemingly not even trying for anyone just a few days later. The only thing I can think of is we expected a big sale and it never happened. Not sure that explains not using another loan though. Fairly confusing end to the window.
Dont speak too soonYou know we haven’t lost a league game don’t you? Just thought I would remind you

New owners… right in the middle of the cross over… the new guys have fucked it, instead of challenging this season for the sake of spending 10m in what ever format loans, purchases, they’ve now gambled on a threadbare squad, which isn’t deep enough in key area, to trying to get promotion next year when more investment and the risk of selling players and investing more in the team is needed. Feels like a massive missed opportunity, the last few owners have zero strategy it seems….. I don’t expect us to ever get back in the top division in the rest of my lifetime. We have over £100m player assets, no ambition.Agree, one of the weirdest transfer windows I can ever remember.
Overall it was all going so well, on course to be one of our best windows ever.
So many positives and overall we're stronger than last year.
Yesterday we were so close to having a great play-off squad.
The suggestion was we just needed another striker (someone smaller and nippy) and maybe a centre back.
However weirdly instead of bringing in 2 new players....we've lost 2 players.....Trusty and Slimane.
Also we've only got 1 proper striker....and he's just a target man type.
Seems like we're saying to Brewster.....the shirt is yours.....you can play basically every match to help you get back into some scoring form.
It's like something major has happened. How does a club go from showing ambitions to be a top 6 team with some great signings...then in the final hurdle we've given up and stopped trying. Makes zero sense. Wonder what's happened?

I can, I'm gobsmacked at how this window has pitted out.You can't say that you will be accused of being from S6![]()
