He's 28 now though. Not exactly the age you send players out on loan. If he isn't good enough for them now, he'll probably never be.

Only using logic, I'm fairly sure this a classic badly thought out Nixon rumour. He may have heard Billing might move, so guessed at recently relegated teams.

But Billing's been a very decent Prem player and will therefore have suitors in all the top leagues. Especially if he's somehow in our price range.
