I can only see him coming as a replacement for Souza
Prefer Souza and he will go on to be worth more

If he came in I could see us lining up in either of these depending if Hamer or Souza leaves. Was hesitant to have Arblaster deeper after scoring 2 so far for us but I could see him playing a Norwood/Coutts role with his range of passing. We never had a defensive midfielder in any of the recent promotion seasons. I’d also rather have O’Hare out on the left rotating with Johnston (not as a full on winger but I think he’d be more suited out there compared to Hamer). Also Brooks and Rak Sakyi can be interchangeable. No traditional number 10 in this system but more licence for the 2 midfielders to push forward.

Billing is best playing as a CAM. Much like Berge, everyone assumes due to his size and build he's a defensive midfielder but he struggled for Bournemouth until he got pushed further up the pitch.

I would be very surprised if we pulled this deal off. If it does go through, I can only assume the new ownership is already in place but keeping it hush hush until after Friday to keep prices lower

Good looking team, and no O’Hare, how would he fit in or on rotation? I think having him and Hamer is a cheat code so it’s a genuine question.

It’s a tough decision, I think one of the midfielders has to miss out depending who we’re playing or on form or what stage of the game is. I wondered if he was to fit in if he could play as a wide number 10 on the left rather than an out an out winger (a bit like the position Hamer is currently playing for us). I really like O’Hare btw and I agree it’s a cheat code I just think we’ve looked over ran in midfield in some stages of the games and could do with having some options to control the game better when the opponents are on top

Anyone know how Cov used to play them when both in same team?

This was put on twitter last night. I’ve had a look through a couple of the rumour mill threads and surprised to see no one has already posted.
Is this guy legit? I have no idea but he does seem to have a bit of a bee in his bonnet about Jimmy Ramble. IMG_2926.jpeg

They had one sitting (Sheaf I think), Hamer as a number 8 and O’Hare as a 10 if I remember correctly. Arblaster and Hamer are the 2 that make it difficult for eachother in terms of both getting a shirt. That’s why I wondered if Arblaster could sit and play a Norwood/Coutts role with Hamer playing more as an 8. But then you’d have to drop Souza 😂 some tough decisions for Wilder to have

We could play a diamond midfield with Souza at the base, Hamer and blaster tucked in midfield and O’hare no. 10.
Winger wide and keep swapping wings and Moore up top.

Or O’hare wide.

Big fan of this Hamers all round game was at its best on right of a diamond for SISU FC.

I am following this with notifications turned on... Which is where I am expecting official news to come from first!

Pretty sure we tried a 4-3-3 against Brentford at the lane last season, using a midfield 3 of Hamer, Souza and Brooks with Osula up top, Mcatee at RW and Archer at LW.

Could we try something like that again. Based on signing Billing and selling Souza.

Rak-Sakyi-----Moore------Johnston

That sounds exactly what we are doing except souza isn't good enough to stay there
