Nah apparently we really want a new striker - main link is Fotis Ioannidis who plays for Panathinaikos

Looks like we are also really trying for Jordan Ayew from Palace (really not sure on that deal when we have also signed DeCordova Reid)

I dont know the lad from Greece but Jordan Ayew a quality footballer, I'm a big fan of his, but at 32 is he really a long term Vardy replacement?
I'm not saying Cannon is, but even with those you seem as short on numbers up top as we are.
Is Cannon just a mile of being a Premier League level starter?

Wouldn't mind seeing them doing more of what they were doing in first half against QPR, when they were swapping positions during attacks every now and then.

Like for our first goal where O'Hare drifted out wide and Hamer moved more centrally to get a good position for his goal.

I think the plan is to get Ayew in to be more of a general attacking squad player and also sign a proper number 9

I don't think it helps with Cannon that he didn't really play much last season

I was actually quite disappointed he didn't get more game time as Daka was absolutely stinking the place out yet Maresca persisted with him rather than giving Cannon a go who had looked good and done well in the few league games he did start

One thing for definite with Cannon is that he doesn't piss about with it, he will get a shot off quickly and with some power - his 1st goal against Huddersfield last season is a good example

 
like the look of this lad could just be what we need maybe just waiting for the anel sale to bring him in maybe on a permanent
 
Surrounded by Leicester fans where I live and to a man they all speak very highly of Cannon.

I remember there being a lot of interest when he left Everton - Leicester beat quite a few other sides to his signature.

Still largely unproven but highly thought of - Utd may be a good option, as long as he'd get enough game time. Not sure whether he's happier playing as a 1 or in a 2 up front though
