Two footed players are so rare these days, probably the last two we had were Brown and Borbokis.

Greaves could kick perfectly well with both feet. He was left footed but you wouldn't know unless you saw him take a penalty.
Jonathan Hunt was two footed (could take corners with both feet) we signed him and Kozluk in exchange for Borbokis! :)

I think the legendary Jimmy Greaves scored quite a few headers as well. I wonder how much he would cost these days.

dennis law was a great striker but 2nd to the great jimmy greaves for me best goalscorer ive ever seen or ever will see some of those individual goals from motd in the 60s were unbelievable having said that my favourite footballer of all time has to be bobby charlton what an all round player he was with a thunderbolt of a shot in both feet

Taking all things into consideration , Bobby Charlton was the best all round English footballer I ever saw and arguably the greatest ever .

For his outstanding ability in so many aspects of the game and his goal scoring record as a midfield player , I can’t think of anyone who comes even close .

A measure of this is the fact that , even before his outstanding performances in the ‘66 World Cup , he was already recognised and appreciated by football supporters in many other countries .

I well remember on a Spanish holiday in the early ‘60s with some mates being stopped in the street by a local who obviously recognised our accents and approached us with the comment , “ Inglese si? - Bobbee Chaarlton magnifico “

I was at Old Trafford in ‘73 when he made his final home appearance , which was against us and we beat them 2-1 .
it is probably the only time I’ve had mixed feelings about a Blades victory , bearing in mind that it was such a huge disappointment to a player who served his country so well and been so thoroughly professional throughout his career.

doc pace 'handball' goal against wednesday in 1 - 0 win guess about 65 silent will correct me if im wrong

Sept 1961

oh right silent didnt think it was as early as that but of course it had to be we had jones and birchenall in 65

Back: Renwick, Frank's, Finnieston, Stainrod, Brown, Conroy, Calvert, Guy, Sabella Anderson, Briggs
Front: Cutbush, Matthews, Hamson, Keeley, Speight, Bergara, Coldwell, Kenworthy, Varadi , Garner, Harwood, Smith.

Obviously it was too cold for Happy Harry to come out...
Stainrod , Varadi ( and Edwards earlier ) all went on to have cracking careers and banged a good amount of goals between them . Obviously we managed to get Edwards back .
Christ we sold some of our good young attacking talent there and kept shite like Finneston , Anderson .

Stainrod wasn't even the best footballer in his year at school, but he progressed and had a very good career.

That’s true & why Haslam was probably one of our worst managers going against everything he did at Luton, selling good players and replacing them with journeymen

I've noticed in pre-season that Trusty is happy with either foot. In a back 4 he is clearly the ball playing CB and while his passing range may be limited (30 yard passes to the full back or into midfield) I have noticed that while he is left footed, if the ball need to be played first time and it's on his right he's comfortable using his right foot.
