Oh dear a shocking piece of business, not because of his past misdemeanour's I don't really care about that he has done his time. What I do care about is how this signing is already dividing the fanbase at a time when we should all be getting behind the team, half the fans don't care as long as he bangs the goals in the other half are deeply offended by his past, at least in Ched's case he can claim a miscarriage of justice at worst it was drunken mistake this knobend is a repeat offender. A very dodgy signing he certainly will not be fit yet and at 33 he may well never get fit like Kitson last season, surely there is better than this available, are we really this desperate to risk bad press when he offends again ................................ because he will ?
Ah well everyone hates us anyway do we care ? do we fuck

As I was reading that I thought there has to be a punchline coming at the end....then I realised you were being serious. The "I deeply regret not having a season ticket as I have nothing to send back to the club" is frankly embarrassing.

Nobody in their right mind would condone what King has done in the past - but it's in the past. My concern when it comes to SUFC is the present and what we do on the pitch. If King scores the winner on Saturday I'll be delighted.

I have a ST and I wouldn't dream of sending it back.

I laughed at the 'if I had a season ticket' sentence.

No offence to anyone on here, but prepare to see the fickleness of footy fans. For coms Saturday, after 3pm, if he bangs one in, the people slagging him off will be jumping with joy.

Clearly, hes a category 5 bell end. However, hes not escaped from prison, hes served his sentences and is a free man. I dont want him to date our lass, I want him to put the bastarding ball in the net, which he is quite good at.

pretty much how I feel I think. wish it wasnt this way though

I'm shocked by this signing , could'nt care less how many he may or may not score , don't give a fuck if he bangs in a hatrick on satdi , has our club become so desperate for a striker we resort to this creature , has people's moral compass gone that far astry that people are'nt that bothered about this guy's past , and present , listen I'm no angel and got into my fair share of bother , but this guy has no respect for anyone . the sort of footballer most people on here tear strips off for his deeds , and now they stomp and cheer as though this signing is ronaldo , are people who support this signing just goverened by points and goals glad to say I'm not and still treat people with the respect they deserve , except pig fans , will cheer united through gritted teeth when this fucker plays for us, but will do what I did when terry curran scored for us , if he scores , stay sitting fucking down. U.T.B.

Call me a fuckwit then ,Im going to watch him score goals not worry about his past. People have short memories regarding other footballers ,many have skeletons including Rooney ,Lampard ,Beattie and many others who have done things I don't agree with. So what do we do ,stop watching or just employ choirboys ?

Aye. Can hear him sharpening his pencil (and eating some pork scratchings with extra lard, natch).

And a side portion of Jellied Eels. He will be loving this.

TBH if he scores goals & gets us out of trouble then fuck it.

Its morally questionable weather we should have signed him, but fuck it. This is 21st century football were morals no longer get you trophies.

I was meaning which fuckwit at the club Weir, McCabe or the Prince, not ordinary fans

Incredibly disappointed in SUFC today.

I'm all for giving people a second chance - people deserve a chance to learn from their previous mistakes and show that they have changed for the better. I wouldn't personally have a problem with SUFC signing Ched when he is released, he seems to be a thick lad who made a humongous error of judgement, as he would have made ONE mistake and, hopefully, will have learned from it.

However, Marlon King signing does not sit well with me. FOURTEEN mistakes and he still doesn't appear to have learned from it. I'm willing to give a person a second chance but a fifteenth chance? No, thanks.

I've bought my season ticket and I will continue to support my club and cheer them on. But this is not going to look good for us at all. If we got some unfair criticism over Ched - I don't see what else our club could have done differently there - we deserve all the stick we'll get over this. Poor, poor decision from SUFC.

King will score but his past is not forgotten one bit.

Moral conundrums aside, this doesn't look like a great transfer to me. He is the same age and type of player as Kitson really, and we were right to let Kitson go. He has had quite a lot of injuries recently and is sure to take a while to get fit. He might get enough goals to prevent us from being relegated, but he won't be prolific enough to fire us into the playoffs.

What's all this then, jobs for mates??

I'm really disappointed by this signing, give a fuck whether he scores 20 goals and takes us up.

No idea what is happening to my club right now, he was the best we could attract, the best we could do in order to build for the future?

Get fucked.

Yes but Kitson hadn't scored 13 goals in the Championship the season before we signed him for a piss poor Birmingham side

It was said tongue in cheek .
But go on I will bite, why is it embarrassing not to have a season ticket ?
Shall I go down the road of who's the biggest blade and say i'm 50 and had a season ticket for 27 of those years. Does having a season ticket mean I don't go to more home and away games than the next Blade ?
If King scores the winner this Saturday I can assure you it will be the most uncelebrated United goal ever at Bramall Lane

This bloke will go to hell,as will a lot of people for much less.
He`s served his time and is still a proffesional footballer.
He wouldnt get an invite round our house for tea.
He`s wearing the colours now,so in a pure footballing sense,i hope he gets a hat full for us.
Or shall we stick to Ironside up front on his own?or Porter maybe?

Thing is, a signing like this is just the same journey man signing that has seen us drop to the shit position we're in now.

That's aside from what would appear to be a long list of offences, of which the next will probably be while he's contracted to us. Embarrassing really.
