CONFIRMED Sam McCallum

If a few of these come in, I'm starting to like the sound of our transfer business. McCallum, Shackleton, Burrows...

Burrows, might be a doubt now with him costing money?
 
People seem to really rate McCallum. But however good he his, I would be concerned about signing a player with a record of injury problems, to compete for a position with Norrington Davies. This is not to say, we only sign players with a particular fitness record, but not for such a specialised position when our other options carry such a fitness risk.

Injury record?

He played 34x last year.

We will give him an injury record don’t worry about that.
 
Any opinions on if hes any good? Non-biased obviously. I know absolutely nothing about him.

Whats his contract status?

I have a feeling RND won’t be with us next season so this with the other players mentioned makes sense.

I’ve not said we’ll spend money, just that I don’t see why this automatically means the other deals are dead. For starters RND was unconvincing before his injury and there’s a huge question mark over his ability to play even half the 46 league games.

They are all true. However the above coming off can be 0%, 33%, 66% or 100%.

As an example Rifleman mentioned some names pre me coming back on here. McNair, Browne and Ayling have all been on our list of targets with advanced talks happening. None have signed and one definetly won't be. However at the time of him dropping those names they were all correct and matched with my own info. They just eventually (so far) have had a 0% hit rate.

To be fair to Rocket Man , if anyone recalls the Deadline Day behind the scenes video we did a few years ago, there were multiple deals there that were all but signed and then things were changed at the 11th hour, which ended up cancelling the deal. Jerome Sinclair and Devante Cole if i remember correctly.

Who is to say that Wilder is all that convinced about Trusty?

What if he plans to offload him for cash and have Robinson and RND competing for LCB and McCallum and the Peterborough lad for LWB?

Or perhaps he plays 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 and Burrows plays further forward and one of the others plays left back?

said the same i think theres every chance trusty will be moved on and i agree i think rnd will be competing with robinson for lcb if we go with 3 at the back and a fit rnd gets in before robbo for me
