I’d want another potential starter (hopefully RND) if he can get fit and let them have a proper competition because he’s been a bit hit and miss since his move Norwich but I thought McCallum was an obvious target for us this summer on a free and I’ll be happy if we get him.

Yeah agree with this. But I don’t see us still going for another left back. We are seemingly on the budget pre Americans. It’s not usual to have a squad with 3 left sided full backs.

Especially when there’s so many holes still within the squad.

Local press there reporting its just the payment plan that's holding up the deal for Burrows - and Rocket Man (who has been more reliable than Rifleman I believe) has said Burrows is close

i think thats a distinct possibility maybe with rnd's injuries wilder sees him more as a lcb also think trusty may be moved central or even sold

1.77m (5'8") on the internet when I looked. Small by modern standards.
Might be ok for a full back but we don't tend to play full backs.
Just think we might struggle in this respect a bit if this is the stature of player we are targeting alongside our alleged interest in Shackleton.
We'll see.

That’s a decimal point, not feet and inches. As metty says above, that’s just under 5ft 10in.

Out of interest, why can’t they all be true?
We need 2 LWB, at least 2 LM and a LCH.
The squad is paper thin so these frees make a lot of sense.
