Easy to say that now, but we had horrendous injury issues to that left side of the defence and Lowe plugged the gap for most of the season and consistently performed reasonably well.

He isn't a great defender, despite the strange statistics so he's always going to be found out at this level.
 

Lowe was poor last season as well, in fact I think I posted along the lines of if Hecky tells him to nesh tackles, stop running back to cover and give the ball away cheaply then he is doing his job perfectly. 😉

When I first saw him in the pre season games he looked awful .he had no idea but I watched him in the forest game and he looked ok.Now the center backs look dodgy or nervous which is unusual ,may be Lowe as has made them nervous .
 
Been carrying an ankle injury, don't know how long for. Fine lines in football all over the pitch maybe if he was fully fit he'd look ok.

Agreed. RND walks back into this team as he can at least hold a full back defensive position. Lowe could maybe be a left midfielder but is all over the shop as a full back.
 
Lowe just doesn't get tight enough/do enough to block the cross. Their second goal Morris has far too much space to cross. I like him in many ways but he's not aggressive enough. Probably time to release Lowe in the summer, especially with Boyes coming back too.

I hope he never puts a United shirt on again he’s been terrible for 2 seasons at least. He can take his mates Fleck & Norwood with him as well.
 
He must be both lucky and unlucky as a player ever since we signed him, in his four seasons since we signed him (including his loan at Forest) he has either been promoted or relegated in each of those seasons.

  • Relegated from the premier league this season (23-24) and his first season for us (20-21).
  • Promoted last season (22-23) with us and with Forest the season before (21-22).

Surely he must be destined to be promoted or relegated next season with whoever signs him.

Not sure it was hate so much as people thinking he was crap for us, which he often was, which is a shame for us and him
 
Because he was useless, the air shot v Forest away was something like a school kid does ….we deserved something out of that game and he was one off the main reasons we do isn’t get owt…good riddance
 
I could see him doing well again if it's in the Championship. He's a reasonble LWB/LB but overall doesn't contribute many assists and he isn't amazing defensively. He's just reasonable at everything, a steady eddy type. He did do well at Forest on loan by all accounts. He did reasonably well for us in the promotion season, but again, nothing spectacular.

If he goes to Wednesday I'm ok with that, he'll probably be their best player.
 
Average championship wing back. Would probably improve their squad. Would have thought he could do better than the pigs personally.
