It’s the old cliche ‘where’s all the money gone’ but it’s bloody true.

We spent fuck all this season & archer is set to go back to Villa when we’re relegated so our net spend must be £20-25m once he does.

Where the hell is the rest of it
The reality is that the money has gone to pay the debts/loans accrued by the Prince whilst trying to run the club over the last few years. Bottom line is that I see no evidence that he has enough personal wealth to fund a Championship club…..let alone a Premier League club. Hence why any transfer business in January will be strictly by a 1 in / 1 out basis.

It’s absolutely crazy, some of the interest on the pay day loans we took out must be mega because we clearly still paying them off.

The fact we go into next season with no money & needing a new squad is farcical. We’ll end up signing 5 loan players on deadline day having sacrificed the first 3 games in order to wait for other clubs to make decisions on players.

I hope Wilder has more of a backbone than Hecky did about this.

Yeah...he can just take his well trodden route to the back door exit

They were paid off in the summer. By last count there was one very modest loan taken out with Macquarie to aid with cash flow. I've not seen any thing posted on Companies House that suggests we've taken out any more.

Is she any good
Crab's Dad, Bladesmanluke's Aunt, who's relative next in the pipeline I wonder?

My Dad had a full summer trialling with the first team in the early 60s. Maybe he's worth a shot too.

These days he'd fit in well with the injury hit squad we continually carry.

He has a chronic lack of pace as a result of death in 1989 but I don't see him being much worse than Thomas for instance.

See nixon spouting again, reckons Palace favourite for illiman if marseille let him go

Sources say that after a recent discovery of an old notebook in the boardroom we are tracking some long term targets.

Jason Koumas finally happening…..
My go to "eventually signing for United" player.

Made better by the fact, last time I looked, he's disappeared off the face of the earth

7% is the standard Macquerie rate

Bloody companies house bollox.

Best way to see what’s happening is just to add up how much money we’ve had in in the past year and this season which will be £200 million. Transfer spend 45million. Player Wages 35 million. Academy 5million. Staff wages 1.5 million. 96.5 million then 103.5 million on OTHER.

Player wages will be double that

I can explain that one.

Crab Sports Agents Incorporated (snappy title eh) actually brokered a deal for Koumas to sign.

I told Vern to make sure he signed, then take him out. In My mind that entailed him taking JK for an Indian then showing him the Sheffield nightlife.

In what can only be described as a “misunderstanding” Vern literally took him out in a more Goodfellas way. So not disappeared off the face of the earth as such, but is very much part of the earth…..

No to selling Anel, he‘ll develop under Wilder and would be excellent again bombing forward in the champ.

Don‘t sell him Chris.
I think he'll go if we are relegated anyway. I'd sell now, roll the dice, and get 3 players in that might give us a chance of staying up.
I'd sell him after we get the players in though so teams don't inflate their prices when they see what we get for Anel.

He has - he demanded we spend £23m on useless Bewsless

Inflate their price from 100,000 to 200,000 as that’s where’s we will shop with the 6/7( if we are lucky ) million we get for him

Yep, he also demanded the board to part with £4m that they didn’t want to for Egan who we’ve definitely had our monies worth of.

For every bad example of a signing with Wilder there’s a lot of good ones too. The ones that unfortunately stick out are the bad ones with high fees.

Its old territory and we’ve gone over it, the premier league money we spent was ridiculous. Hopefully he’s learned from his mistakes too.

Southampton got 100.3 million for finishing bottom of the Prem last season.

Based on your previous posts on this subject I'm still trying to work out if you're attempting (poorly) a wind up or are just incredibly stupid 🤔.

We aren’t looking for fee’s

Most ambitious got to be a free transfer like Callum O’Hare

i can definetly see us being interested in david brooks and think there could be something in this rumour ideal replacement for mcatee

Hasn’t Nixon already claimed we’ve got no money to spend in the summer, and it’ll be frees and loans? I can’t remember if he has or not, but all of a sudden we’re now spending £8m on a keeper?

8m?? Surely we go for the millers keeper and spend that kinda money on others.
Millers keeper and Cooper would surely be available for less than that. Even Rushworth on loan. If we have 8 million to spend on fees and that might be a big if we need to bring in 12-14 new players can’t see is spending that much on one player. Whatever resources we’ve got will have to go a long way this summer

So far then according to big Al;
Arblaster to Villa.
Jebbo to Ipswich
Is Anela £17m release clause one of his?

Also, we’re looking to sign a Sunderland keeper for £8m.

It’ll be interesting to track these throughout the summer. Not to pick at the stories, as they’ll be loads of incorrect rumours, but more to highlight the hit rate accuracy given the negative stories always come with posters on here saying “well Nixon gets stick but he’s normally right”.
