Why would they have to come from PL.? A few smaller clubs don't really shop in PL, eg. Brentford.

That's because we don't have much sellable assets to balance any incomings with. It was essentially the Prince saying nothing much in terms of fees happening in my opinion.

I do think spending would be pointless anyway but way PA and CW were talking last month was we had a decent budget for transfers and if we go down we need to find the money spent.

Everybody is entitled to his own oppinions, sure, but at least lets give new players time to settle in before we get the hatchets out. .

That's because we are making it up as we go along. There's no long term planning as the owner wants to sell and we don't have a director of football.

This window should be all or nothing. We should either be bringing in premier league first 11 players to try and keep us up or accept we are down and play all the players who will be here next year.

The only reason to sign BBD should have been because we are bringing 4 others in to have a real go at staying up. If it's just him and a keeper thats not moving the dial and he's a waste of money and taking up a spot of someone who will be around next season

If we wanted Ward it would be sorted already, I wouldn’t imagine there’s too many complications there.

I suspect we would like Schmiechel, but he’s seeing if anyone else will bite before committing to us. Ward is maybe on a long list of backup options we have, and one we’ve maybe fed Nixon as misdirection.

We’ll fill the vacant loan slot, but as we know, these are often done at the end of the window, so suspect we’ll have a number of options prepared and it’s a case of holding fire for 2 weeks.

You never know, if we beat West Ham, maybe Wilder can persuade Princey to spend some more dollar. But assuming not, I think we’ll get a keeper on a perm/foreign loan, and a domestic loan signing, I’d guess a midfielder.

Wilder has said he wants players who can go straight into the first 11.

Unless youve got Man City’s millions it isnt just a case of saying we will have him him and him.

All sorts of negotiations will be going on behind the scenes but these things often take time, you only need to look elsewhere to see that not much is happening.

There’s really no point in bringing someone in just for the sake of it and to appease our impatience.
