well it sounded like at the time he changed his mind 3/4 times so for me he pissed us about his heart and probably his agent convinced him to go to marseille but imo he made the wrong decision apart from a couple of teams in france lique 1 is no better than our championship he should have stayed and played in a higher quality league
Just 'cos you were pissed off with his decision (a big one in his life/career) doesn't mean he was pissing about.
The club were probably hoping desperately that he would sign for us but were almost certainly aware how difficult the decision was for him.

Why do you care that I care?

And for what it’s worth, I find it disrespectful when people refuse to say or spell someone’s name correctly. That ok with you, boss?

People with unusual or foreign names get used to it, but it's surprising how much many with regular British names get upset when you say or spell theirs wrong

We can't underestimate his Dad's influence at the time, either.

The way I see it is we convinced him it was better for him and his young family to stay here compete in the PL and continue to be the player leading us up top. And that it might be better for his progression given he's still only 23.
Still time to go to Marseille in years to come.

Marseille when informed of this said "Don't come now it will probably never happen for you". His dad likely swayed too so he decided to go with his heart. Albeit one that was a bit split.

Seems like he's starting again so I'm saying this idea might be dead in the water.

Not sure about Ndiayes relationship with Wilder, or how that might effect any potential return?

I think the nearest Ndiaye got to the first team, was an unused sub during Wilders reign, or maybe that was even Jokanovic? But it wasn’t until Hecky took over as caretaker, that he made his first team debut, obviously they already had a good working relationship from the academy.
It was Jokanovic who gave him his first full start against Peterborough Think Wilder used him as a late sub in Covid season -Palace away ? Not sure

If you say so. Personally I don’t think it’s too much to check rather than continually spelling a name completely wrong, but to each their own I suppose. It’s not like it’s some random player from a Belgian third tier team, his name is used a lot on here and was used a lot on the club’s official channels, so I have to conclude that anyone who can’t either learn how to spell his name (and I don’t buy the problem with spelling thing, as it’s consistently spelt wrongly but in the exact same way) is refusing to do so.

Given Everton’s ongoing financial situation and questionmark regarding there takeover by 777…..how the hell are they going to be allowed to spend more money on players in January?

Because they've worked out that they could probably take another 10 point deduction and still stay up this season.

The punishment for breaching FFP seems to be the square root of nowt if you're a midtable or above team.

The late sub at Palace was Antwoine Hackford.
Ndiahe made his cameo appearance at Leicester 0-5 disappeared until the serb gave him a start at Bramall Lane the following
season.
Hackford played at
Burnley I think it was a cup tie he then disappeared and surfaced at the end of last season.Seems he had a bad time with injuries including an ACL.
