Surely a case of heart ruling head for those proposing he be brought back on loan in Jan - is he not at the ACoN so might only arrive mid Feb? Even then, he'd be a player out of form, not used to Utd's formation or style of play and still not have played in the Prem - an awful lot for him to overcome, as well of course as fan expectation.

If Utd somehow avoid relegation and he's available in summer, then that's an entirely different proposition.

I wasn't sure about that but I read the thread and it turns out he is

wouldnt make sense with the afcon in january of course he walks in to our starting 11 but we cant afford for players to be out for 4/5 premier league games and to be honest it troubles me the way he pissed us about last summer its a no from me

Dismissed the question rather quickly in the pre-match interview for Villa.

"Just want to ask about Illy, bit out of favour in France, would you be interested in bringing him back?"

"I'm not prepared to talk about anyone that's-- (no longer here) I'm really focusing on the group that we've got. Everyone knows his history, me more than anybody as he was a young player who came through. Myself, looking from a distance on his breakthrough and promotional season, the impact he had on the team, fabulous and outstanding player but as far as speculation, I don't want to get involved with that."

If the radio Sheffield boys were given one question to ask the all seeing all knowing almighty they would ask how many questions they had

That would suggest to me that whilst absolutely not confirming it's something they are keeping their eyes on. They may in fact be keeping tabs as well.
Not a flat out not happening at the min.

Yeah, I'm not suggesting it's somethings that's dead in the water, even if it wasn't alive to begin with. If PA is flirting the idea with some big money loans, Illy would make sense and fit right back into the team. If the numbers were right, I reckon they'd bite Marseille's hand off for it.

I do suspect Wilder will be very careful with what he says in terms of transfers and squad members given how his last spell ended.

I think it'd give the fans and the squad a massive lift if he was to come back.

Marseille sounds like something of a shit show and was a heart move from him, definitely not a head one.

Let's not kid ourselves though, IF he came back (and its a big if) and he performs, he'll be off somewhere higher up the league than us.

Spurs would be a great move for him IMO for as long as Ange is in charge there.

Not sure about Ndiayes relationship with Wilder, or how that might effect any potential return?

I think the nearest Ndiaye got to the first team, was an unused sub during Wilders reign, or maybe that was even Jokanovic? But it wasn’t until Hecky took over as caretaker, that he made his first team debut, obviously they already had a good working relationship from the academy.

He played under Slav in the Peterborough home game where we hammered them and he got 2. That was his debut.

That's not what you were arguing against tho.

The poster said first team debut under Hecky as caretaker which was factually correct.
He was insinuating that he started under hecky AFTER slav, which is incorrect

Have ever considered that his 'pissing us about' was because he was seriously considering staying until the very last moment

Watching him tonight, he looks in great form. No way is he coming back.

We make a shoutbox decision to drum up some speculation, on Twitter and on here. I can't believe it actually gathers reaction 😂

First Nixon, now this:

Best case scenario, we somehow manifest something into fruition. Yeah right!

At the very least, we piss off some Marseille fans along the way.

Could it happen!
We've had 2 sensational talents in my time as a blade ! TC and now Ndiah we lost both to financial problems TC due to relegation and a big black hole due to the south stand debt.,Ndiah due to an owner not flush with funds to support a premiership team.
TC almost came back at the end of his career a knee problem curtailed that.
Ndiah is young and yet to reach his peak would be a great signing even if only on loan initially.
If as been suggested his wife still based in England then things in France obviously not good.
He strikes me as a family man so his dream move may not be all it seemed

Why do you refuse to spell his name properly?

well it sounded like at the time he changed his mind 3/4 times so for me he pissed us about his heart and probably his agent convinced him to go to marseille but imo he made the wrong decision apart from a couple of teams in france lique 1 is no better than our championship he should have stayed and played in a higher quality league
