No offence here, but if the club isn't run for the fans, then what's the point in having a club?
Attendances are vital. If there are 100000 SUFC fans in Sheffield, or whatever, and only 15000 turn up, that's 85000 that don't go. If crowds make "fuck all", then basically we're saying that fans are not important to the club, and therefore shouldn't come into the equation. I entirely disagree. Crowds mean everything, absolutely everything. Players come and go, so do managers, chairmen etc. Fans pass on their loyalty to their children and the link remains. Start to dismiss them as meaningless then you will get to a point where fans probably do make "fuck all".
