Who owns archer?2 were suspended and the other is owned by City and couldn't play so who could we have played
Archer on his own would have changed the result?Archer
MaybeArcher on his own would have changed the result?
Ok,who are the best players? Easy starter for ten.I'd expect him to pick our best players ... he didn't and we were wank ...
In fact I'd say we are less likely to get back up after relegation than if we'd kept hecky, Jack and Stuart McCall.... discuss....
Don’t need stats. If your a sufc fan you watch the games the difference is night and day. Most the stats suggest we are a lot better since Wilder came in. A freak couple of own goals and two mistakes by Wes and we would be 4 points better off over the last 3 games and this thread wouldn't be started.
He signed it 4 years ago to be fair too him. Hecky kept them all and gave them new deals. Very hard to blame CW for this.If he doesn’t get rid of half the dross in the squad this Summer then nothing has changed. A lot of the dross is what he signed to be honest. Will he be ruthless? I don’t know, he says he doesn’t want to their mates, then get rid then.
Game changer at city away you got me thereArcher?

No but even if your opinion is nowts changed a quick look at hard to argue facts show you...it has!Don’t need stats. If your a sufc fan you watch the games the difference is night and day.
and here it is, another attention seeker peppering the forum with click bait cobblers…….yawnIn fact I'd say we are less likely to get back up after relegation than if we'd kept hecky, Jack and Stuart McCall.... discuss....
But didn’t we lose a “very close”game 1-2 at the death only due to a calamitous error last time we played Citeh? And that was under Heck. So not by 5 or 8 nil…?We'd have lost 5 or 8 nil today under hecky. Oh yeah like we did against Arsenal and Newcastle.
Pig. Will that do?In fact I'd say we are less likely to get back up after relegation than if we'd kept hecky, Jack and Stuart McCall.... discuss....
He doesn’t get a payout this time, it’s in his contract if it doesn’t work out the contract can be terminated at the end of the season with no financial consequences to the club.Yep, I know him and he's after another big payout and it's obvious .... look at the team today
Don’t fall into his trap where he actually gets you to reply. He’s done it to me a few timesHe doesn’t get a payout this time, it’s in his contract if it doesn’t work out the contract can be terminated at the end of the season with no financial consequences to the club.
So what’s your next theory? You actually think he’s fielding a shit team to get the sack??![]()
Can we please have a bit less of this............ common sense is not welcome hereFans: ‘Sack Hecky, sack Hecky…..bring in literally anyone else’, so we sack him and bring in Wilder. Results continue to be shit so we then think Wilder is the problem. Could it be that the players and lack of investment is the problem?
I might be missing some nuance here...but I genuinely don't get the meltdown over losing 0-2 to the richest club on the planet. Did anyone really think we'd get anything? Seems to me it was a game to just write off and forget about. It is enormously unlikely that we stay up, but if, by some miracle, we do, we won't do it by getting points away at City.
The Luton capitulation was unforgivable, and horrendous. THAT was the time for anger, and recrimination. Same goes for Bournemouth at home.
As far as I can recall, we lost 0-2 at the Etihad in 19/20, and nobody went apeshit over that and declared it to be some sort of horrendous, season-ruining result. It was just a more or less expected consequence of playing a team who are on an entirely different planet to us in terms of players and resources.
On aggregate we've lost 1-4 to City this season. I've not checked other teams' results, but I'd imagine that there are several bigger and richer clubs than ourselves, who will be on the receiving end of a worse aggregate scoreline against them this season.
