Simple one this. Will we win the play-offs?

Most on here, myself included, have a very negative view of the play-offs and our prospects of winning them. I wondered how strong the consensus that we will still be in the shit league next year was.
 



weve got less chance of going up than parking your car in gleadless valley for a month, coming back and it still being there. and not on fire.
 
I am that confident on United not winning the play offs, I would put my life savings on it.

Not 100% sure I want us too as the squad would need that much of a radical overall, the chances would be that next season would be even more dreary than this one.

The rot has well and truly set in.

Would actually prefer a few more seasons in L1 where we start to build a good footballing team based on a few astute signings and some of the young uns coming good, where we romp the league and go up with the nucleus of a decent side capable of competing.

This lot would be relegated by January !

Get a grip man, even last season's team fucked up in the last few minutes on a couple of occasions.

The defence is probably the only shining light from this season and you know it, you're just on an unnecessary downer like a lot of blades at the minute.

If/when we balls up the play offs you can moan all you want but if you hadn't realised, the club has a few of the biggest games in its recent history coming up and it could do with fans like you either fecking off for 5 years as some other numpty on here has decided to do, or shock horror getting behind the team and supporting them.

1. Who are Yeovil? - There are only in this position because of Madden. Keep him quiet and they have nothing.
2. Who are Swindon? - Still licking their wounds over Di Canio's departure. We beat them 2-0 last time.
3. Brentford? - Respect here, a decent team. They are doomed though after the manner of their weekend defeat.

We have played poorly in recent weeks and can only get better.

Keep yer pecker's up lads.

Thanks, I didn't know we had a few games coming up. The thread was " will we go up" ? I hope I'm wrong but my opinion is no. So why don't you Feck off?

Who are sheff utd? A team who can't score for shit and need to up there game 500% all the above have a goal scorer that will be the difference

Yeah this thread is called will we go up not what negative bollocks can you make up and list.

No problems on the reminder, I thought I'd let you know as you might not have realised while you were wallowing in a half empty glass of self pity.
 
You've more chance of finding a unicorn in Rotherham than United have of promotion this season. We do playoffs like my mother in law cooks. It promises so much, but it falls desperately short of satisfying.

You only need to go to Parkgate and you see all kinds of mythical beasts in Rotherham. Mostly orks, trolls and gorgons. The chances of spotting a unicorn probably aren't that slim (not unlike the locals).

Your analogy would have had more impact if you'd said "You've more chance of finding an over 18 with no children and all her teeth".

Be positive, be negative do what the fuck you want but stop telling people how they should support their team. What next, fuck off to S6 or Meadowhall we don't want fans like you here?

I'm guessing there will be 20k+ there and many thousands more elsewhere willing a win and not one single person wanting us to lose. I think our Chairmans a twat and our teams shit but I NEVER want them to do anything other than win every game they play.
 
I doubt we'll go up but this is football and we are not a poor league one team, we wouldn't have finished 5th otherwise. I fancy Yeovil to go all the way though. Pacey team full of energy with the leagues top scorer. Our leading goal scorer left in January ffs
 
Looking at the form of all 4, you would think Brentford were the firm favourites, but after that penalty debacle who knows what that did to their mindset. After that, who the chuff knows, but if it was anyone else you'd say we had more than a sniff of a chance. Experience tells us something else!

Talking of which. If we were in the position that the baconites find themselves, going into the last game of the season, hands up those who think we'd drop? \o/
