Attendance

I was quite pleased that the cunt who normally sits behind me wasn't in attendance. It meant I could enjoy a game of football without listening to 45 minutes of what a prick Gary Lineker is and 40 minutes (he always leaves early) of how there are too many homosexuals and black people on the BBC.
Lovely.
Do you sit on the floor in front of my settee? ;)

im pretty sure we were only allocated 33k for the hull semi but could be wrong but we definetly took 40k to the burnley play off final the huddersfield play off final was our most dissapointing ticket sales for wembley with only 28k sold pigs had a birthday with that figure
Didn't we get another 5000 for the Hull game after the original allocation sold out? Hull took about 28,000 and were well outnumbered by Blades

Another thing that doesn't help attendances is United's stupid policy of a free for all to buy tickets give ST holders time to claim their usual seat where they sit every week with family and friends. I stayed away from the Wrexham and Spurs games for this reason. I meet up with friends at the ground where we sit otherwise I'm attending alone, if I can't sit with friends I'll stay away and watch on TV and plenty of others feel the same, why should we be forced to sit elsewhere often in RV seats which a lot of the left of the kop now are due to the grey box. I know someone will reply what about ST holders in the BLUT/Westfield corner but you know what happens if you buy a ST there. It is high time SUFC segregated the top tier like they have done in the past.
Sit in the Kop v Watch on TV. People obviously voted with their feet.

im not sure but we did outnumber hull comfortably thought our initial allocation was 33k know we definetly sold that many at least

This is what you get when the pricing is the same in every section of the ground. It is only natural that people will try to snap up the best seats so obviously the South stand is the first to sell out. What that leaves then is people displaced from their usual seats having to buy tickets elsewhere which in turn leaves only the worst seats left which are on the kop with a reduced capacity and a lot of RV seats. When the game is on free to view national TV these seats are never going to sell.

True I get why people are displaced for cup games and the attendance being what it is. Although I don't get why me and everyone sat around me is a cunt for not being stood up signing for 90 minutes though.

Anyone sat on South Stand in A block yesterday will know who i am on about. They were embarrassing themselves and lucky no one stood up to give them a clip because they deserved it.

Woolford of Wall Street is not wrong about some of our fans.

John st was full so in this tweet I’ve just seen we are looking at 6k empty seats 😂

THey shoud concern themselves with the fact they have not averaged over 30k in a season in over 55 years ........Indeed, we have an Average this season of 28,500 what theirs again?
That’s with reduced ticket sales as well because of the kop situation,a pig was saying to me last night “only 25k !” My reply was “your biggest game for years against the geordies with nearly 5000 of them in attendance-25000 in the ground “ !! Pig logic is incredible sometimes.I’ve said many times both support is incredible for the shit we put up with.

Said in a another post. The 20k that went yesterday should be given 1st choice. Although if we've got 33k, I can't see us selling them. Regarding the 20k, initially I thought it looked like much more but after watching it back on TV, it's probably about right. Which is disappointing I think.

i wasnt there due to covid but definetly the 20k that were there yesterday should have first dibs on wembley tickets but we inow that wont happen because of our policy on loyalty points and season ticket holders coming first had to be 4/5k season ticket holders that didnt bother yesterday

Due to the new traffic light sequencing at the D Dooley way Parkway junction, my bus took over 20mins to get from the bus station to the Parkway; traffic was light on the Parkway. The lights now only let 3-4 cars through. Can't justify a clean air zone without doing something to cause congestion can you SCC.
Wondered what was causing that. I went up Cricket Inn Road and then round the back of Currys technical centre to get back onto the Parkway. Nothing was coming up the Parkway when I got back on. Another unnecessary traffic jam adding to the pollution. SCC never learn.

There’s a good chance we could outnumber the Man City fans. Many of the arrogant cunts will probably be saving their dosh for the final…

The proper Man City fans will be there, the plastics will stay at home, that’s all anybody can ask and want for.

I have a friend that went on holiday this week and couldn't make the game. They went to the south of France and are having a nice time, but couldn't make the game today. They would've typically gone, but they would have needed to leave 2 days early so it wouldn't have made sense. I've just spoken to them on the phone and they said they would've loved to go to the game but understandably they couldn't make it. I was planning on meeting them at the game but they couldn't go as they were on holiday, but usually they would've gone. More often than not they'd go to most games including cup games like today and I'll usually meet them and say hello and maybe a cheeky pint, but unfortunately they couldn't go to the game, even though they really wanted to.

Maybe this has happened to other people and they couldn't go.
What a funny story

So I went to the Wrexham and Spurs games butr because I'm currently in Dublin on a previously arranged trio I can't go to Wembley

Few thousand down on previous attendances (29k) glad I didn't miss the first win! 😜
I was thinking of giving this a miss having to travel from London and go via Donny due to engineering on EMR but glad I didn't. Also why you should never leave early if you can manage not to.

I never leave early , many years ago in the 4th Division me & the mates left the ground early in disgust as we were losing 2-1 to Crewe .
On the way back to the station heard two big cheers … we’d scored two late goals and had won 3-2 …. Lesson learned ⚔️

I was at that too. We invaded the pitch after both goals and again at the end. Last onto the coach after.

Jumped the wall on that one. Good old fashioned pitch invasion at the end was worth staying for.

I share your train pain, our inbound journey went to Bedford last minute but after that match nothing mattered!!
