Cheerio Hecky

Too late though isn't it. That Champ B team is still the team they'll be putting out and the club will be X3 lots of severance pay lighter.

I don't know the answer, but throwing good money after bad and rolling the dice on either a relative unknown up and comer or an out of work journey man doesn't feel like the right thing to do.
Agreed,re- Championship B team is about right.

Potter has allegedly said he wouldn't touch us with a barge pole. I've also heard Wilder told Abdullah last Monday he has commitments so can't start until 8th Nov.
All prospectives want to wait until Arsenal away and Brighton away have passed.... OK the12th November, but no one will want to touch us until those two games are cleared. The one question I will pose is, if we actually go ahead in a game, as we did v Spurs, what would Hecky's tactics be? It is no good saying we have had bad luck, ladee fucking da etc... what did we do last year? Tried to see the game out. It worked sometimes in the Championship, but we were on the edge of seats most games. EPL, no chance, the quality of striker is totally different. We are doing the same now just to try and draw a match. It doesn't work. We can't see out teams like Forest, Everton and Fulham, certainly not the likes of Spurs, Citeh and Manure. Tactically naive, physically weak, blown up by 60 minutes and no subs to speak of. We can still change this. We can see these players do have grit and style, but lack stamina and self belief. That is down to the coaching/manager. Everton, Citeh, Spurs, Manure, Florist we "sparkled" for periods of the game. It is in there somewhere, but the headless chicken tactics we apply when in with a chance is destroying everything. I am still optimistic we can turn this round, but we need a new commander at the helm, very soon! Love Hecky tbh, but his time is up. As someone else said somewhere, I love my blades more!

I don’t mind losing a game if the players try their all & give a fuck.

I’m afraid, they aren’t interested… the dingle cunt took off our best two players and brought on a battery pack & Warwick Davies. He’s out his depth.

Got to go.
Classy stuff.

Our "best players" aren't fit. Blame them for being unfit.

Hope that's a load of bollocks that you've made up...

Wilder (god bless him) couldn't cope last time so what makes you think he can cope now?
Yeah, nothings changed from when he left really. The training ground is still shite, we still haven’t got a pot to piss in and all his Wilderball players are well past it.

I’m also sceptical about Wilder returning. However, Covid was a difficult & strange time for many people & I genuinely think it affected him & the way he managed us then. We went from full house crowds & Wilder & the team in ‘everyone’s face’ particularly at home matches …..to matches behind closed doors that were nothing more than glorified ‘training games’. That must have been very hard for him more than most to handle.

If we lose v Arsenal, Wolves & Brighton…..then I think the Prince will roll the dice & sack Hecky and bring back Wilder, Knill & Prestidge to try to get some sort of uplift.

December is the big month need to get to next international break still in touch of 4th bottom.

ManU, Arsenal, Brighton & Wolves is a nightmare run of games for any club let alone a newly promoted, injury ravaged club stranded at the bottom. Hecky gets at least until Xmas for me.
Does he fuck! This sack of shite what he's brought in not going to make
Gi o'er wi thi sen.
At any other club yes, but we are different to them we keep accepting shite! We done it for years.

8 losses from 9 including an 8-0. Don’t care what league, that’s sacking form.
Nothing against Hecky - he will always have on his CV a Promotion to the PL ... for his own mental health, he needs to go now.
Who to bring in? In my head we are down but heading down so we canna go for Mark Robins (yet) ... but we can go for Warnock until the end of the season with the remit... get 13 points. Look what he did at Rotherham and Huddersfield (and Cardiff TBF) and it would be an ultimate end to his career - so long as he got 13 points .
I would never want this job to be longer than July 1st 2024 though.
Forget Big Sam and forget CW ....... but get Mark Robins lined up for next season

Realistically the only time for robins would be now whilst we’re still a premier league club. Coventry could well be promoted with him this season whilst we’re almost certain to be relegated.

Can't see us turning it around, put apart from that bang on mate👍

Just looking at the players we will have available for the Arsenal game and we have just about got an eleven who you could possibly say are "first teamer's" which doesn't leave a lot of options whoever is the manager. This injury situation can't be put down to bad luck there are clubs out there with far worse training and medical facilities than Sheffield United and they keep the majority of their players fit why can't we? If there is a reason the get rid for me this is it, we had hardly any injuries when Wilder was in charge. We could put some of this down to luck but a lot of the blame has to go down to the training methods of Hecky and his staff, apparently Hecky has a track record for injuries to players in training and in the time he has been in charge we have been in a constant injury crisis. I think we have to take a look and decide if Hecky and his staff are fit for purpose.

The decline was setting in prevovif results were ok but performances were dropping off Palace away we were awful Norwich Brighton at home were also poor

Spotted Sunday with his missus walking towards Rising Sun in Nether Green. A very tanned (and I mean VERY) ex manager of Watford. From which I divine he has spent the last few weeks in LA or Saudi negotiating his new contract with PA or he’s just back from a week in Skeggy and he fancied a bevy with Sunday Lunch.

Much as I derided him for the manner of his leaving and his arrogance, at least he didn’t spend 20 minutes discussing substitutions until it was too late.

But then again……….. Could I ever forgive and forget Lundstram?

I understand people not liking Wilder it’s all about opinions.

But what he achieved on the football pitch is something we won’t ever see again. Even now we are living of his signings and living of the PL money he earned us followed by the parachute money.

Then what’s the point in having him back? Bloke looked out for himself multiple times, angled for more clover whilst at his dream job. He also played absolute thundercunts like lunwank to make a point. Thinks he’s far bigger than the club.

Robins was the guy I wanted us to get when we appointed Wilson.

Either way, the club needs a result soon to restore some health to the situation.

It’s not great for fans or players to be defeated almost every week.

Ideally the current set up manage it. It seems unfair for the manager to carry the can for a lack of support but as we know, this is often the way.

It’s the biggest job he’s ever going to get. Again.

Unless the Al Haveapayrise position in Saudi comes up!

Yes,get Colin in,i've been saying it for ages but got slagged off for even thinking it,we're in the brown stuff. It may not keep us up but at least go down showing some fight and bottle.I

As said before there’s something wrong with our conditioning and fitness levels let’s get an old style trainer in we just run out of gas in the last 30

I was thinking of a short term contract for Neil,if he'd go for it,just to give the team a bit of guts and fight.See whats available for next season when the dust has settled.

Mark Robbins…. Wtf has he ever done and past it…. no thanks,
Took cov to a play off final despite having a very small budget for the championship and developed players like gyokeres, o’hare and of course hamer.

Wow, that’s a great record for how many years he’s been a manger, …if that’s our realistic aspiration then we’re fucked, he’s league 1 at best.

Football transfers tend to work off recency bias- and recently robins has been very good.

Too many uncertainties around for anyone to want the job. Could be gone if PA manages to sell the club. Loads of lads out of contract at end of season etc etc. We all knew this year would be a struggle and likely be a relegation season but there's 4 other teams that are completely shite too. Whilst ive always felt we'll get relegated its not the forgone conclusion some think. A win or two and we'll feel very very different. Got to hope that we are in touching distance of these 4 clubs come the return of the international break, get a few more players fit and go at that 3/4 month spell with everything we've got. You never know. 30 point might be more than enough to stay up. Half the games this season we've been in them (forest, city, everton, spurs, man u) and really should be a few points better off than we are. McBurnie scores after 2 mins and that game on sat is different. Archer scores before half time again completely different. I honestly think we can compete against most teams.

Its harsh but we know the next 3 are likely to be defeats, kind of just want them out of the way before we can get at some more teams like us! not sure Hecky will survive that though

Hi Stegosaurus here

I guarantee if we got Warnock in, we'd make a fight of it and wouldn't beat Derby's record.
