I never go for that "kick up the arse" bollocks. When you're playing and picking up results you play with confidence, you find that extra yard and things just "happen". You don't need a kick up the arse to get gee'd up.

Very unprofessional conceding 4 goals to an average team and playing Brentford next is actually the best fixture for us. No time for sulking, time to stand and be counted and it'll show us a hell of a lot about the team and their attitude........yet again.
 
Tactics mean sod all when the 11 on the pitch struggle to do the basics.

Maybe, just maybe we might get a reaction like Everton today after their debacle last week v Wigan- can DW & the crowd inspire them?

It's not Danny Wilson's fault that a man who is at the twilight of his career can't manage to control a football or that another tosses the ball straight to an opponent and proceeds to stand watching.

We have a weak squad, we don't have quality players to bring in. Wilson may be a coward tactically but he's a part of the problem, quite a big problem but if some of the so-called better players sudden;y can't control a football then that really can't be Wilsons fault.

I am not defending Danny Wilson by the way, I just think we're collectively average from top to bottom.

We're up at the top challenging for promotion, we should be flying, not looking for a kick up the arse. As to issuing the kicking then who could do it? We don't have a leader, that's why we get outmuscled, we aren't hard enough. When the going gets tough we fuck up, we seem to have a history of it.
 
I didn't believe the score when my dad told me - what happened? Haven't Stevenage lost the last 13/16? Who in particular were to blame?
 
One of the worst performances I've seen in a very long time. I wouldn't have minded if they had played us off the park but they just outmuscled and then steamrollered us and we just lay down and let them. Atrocious from a professional team.
 
I couldn't bring myself to post on here earlier, such was my dismay at that result. 4-0 against Stevenage (with the greatest respect to a club that has come a long way) is totally unacceptable and I sincerely hope each and every one of the players was given a good dressing down. It doesn't stop there though. Everyone at the club needs to take a look at themselves after that. We might not be the most successful club but we don't conduct ourselves in this way and play to those standards. Piss poor.....and I expect a response in the next game. The only thing I can take from it is that Crewe (a much better side) didn't catch us playing like that.

Is that the chosen 11 that have recent kept 6 clean sheets and had won the previous 4 away from home or the 11 that played the 2nd half today which saw us play 4-4-2(a formation that many on here have been asking for as it is more positive),the current scapegoat substituted at half time and subsequently conceded 3 goals?

What can DW do when the team that has does sound defensively recently decided to disappear today. The ONLY positive today was MacFadzean

4-5-1 is a recipe for disaster. I understood the reasons behind playing it at "then" top of the league Bournemouth. Shouldn't play it at home OR against a toss Stevenage team.

And as for Flynn.. I'm team Flynn, he gives so much more to the team than gets recognised. We are a worse team without him
