Maouassa is still at Cercle Brugges. He's the one we should have got. Signing Larouci is basically saying that LWB doesn't really matter

We can recruit brilliantly in midfield and attack and still be fucked by our left sided defensive weakness

Trusty will need to be exceptional and I just don't think he is

I think he's worth a shot. And if things went well people would have to work around him being a conservative Muslim ☪️. Can't let reporters bait him with things that are against his religion especially if he's putting up 18 goals a season. Imo
I think, upon being appointed Rangers manager, Graeme Souness said something like ‘I’d sign a one-legged Trappist monk if he could give me 20 goals a season.’

Barriers can be overcome. Especially with goals.

We were discussing that option at the game yesterday.
Must sit near me, a kid about 7-8 must have heard you and picked up a reyt pile of sick at half time. Poor Work Experiance kids had to come with white powder to harden it then scoop it all up in a bag. We were all gripping.

"Lad from Swansea" gifted Norwich a goal yesterday and I mean GIFTED.
Problem with signing players who've never played in the premier league before, is that you can't always tell if they will be able to cut it in the top division.

Manning might be class in the championship but we don't know if he can cope in the premier league, some players just can't handle the step up, Callum Robinson is one that springs to mind, class in the championship, not so good in the premier league.

*gipping

First time I've seen the words class. Callum and Robinson in the same sentence.
Fair enough, maybe I did overrate him in the championship (during his Preston days), but for all the good he was in the championship he was poor in the premier league for us.

Luke Freeman wasn't that good in the premier league either but he was always good in the championship.

Che Adams might have scored the odd goal for Southampton in the premier league but was he even that good in the premier league, I'm not so sure.

A monk with a gifted left foot? But sadly, no other foot.

If he comes it’s almost certainly not before Friday, nothing to gain in that for Forest ! He was on the bench yesterday.
As ever UTB !

We need a LMF for balance and 2 strikers , that's 3 for the starting eleven.
Our reputed £20m budget (before the departure of Berge & Ndiaye) has been spent on Souza , Trusty , Traore , Slimane & Larouci.
The Berge money has gone on Hamer.
Hopefully the Ndiaye money can be used on one more quality permanent.
Then it's the 2 PL loans to give us the 3.

I understand them not wanting to loan to a relegation rival.
Very little in way of reward for them...

Sure they'd have been open to a sale at the right price but we didn't want to meet their price.

No sign of them signing 733 players like they did last season, guessing that's because they can't get rid of half of them

If there's a few quid left in the pot, I think he'd be a really good addition for us.

Unused sub at Forest yesterday so surely they're open to offers?
Think he'd really help address the imbalance on our left side. Good defensively so could really help Larouci out.
Goes box-to-box and the type that would stick around if the worse happens.

Don't think this would happen ATM , though this lad would be a better partner for souza, I'm afraid Ollie got back to his short pass pointing best yesterday the annoying thing about Norwood yesterday he has a 60/70 yard pinpoint pass in the locker when both osula and traore were both looking for it !! Yes we know it would come straight back but would have given the guys a breather as city build up on the floor and not just hump it straight back in

What about the pass with the outside of his foot down the right for Traore to run onto ?

One pass mate don't get me wrong he's one of the best midfielders during my lifetime but he's so capable of taking a game by the Scruff of the neck
Partnering with souza should release him more but it's not sinking in
