I thought he was the better of Boro's midfielders last night. Hackney just seems to want to hang on to the ball and avoid making a forward pass.

Thougjtbhe looked like a poor man's Norwood minis the ping. Sat in the hole played it short and easy and did very little else. There's no way he's a 10m player

I watched the game too.
Thought Wednesday we’re half decent 1st half, altho clearly lacking quality and still low standard for the division.
1st half they reminded me of Rotherham and I thought if they can play like that they might just have enough to stay up but it would be close.
Regards Boro couldn‘t believe how poor they looked, they couldn’t even string 3 passes together, thought they were a disgrace.

However as expected, 2nd half Boro upped their game and had a 15 minute spell where they looked a good side and totally dominated.
This time was a surprised how poor and sorry Wednesday looked. Looking odds-on they’ll be relegated.

Wednesday clearly look a league 1 side and there’s quite a distance between them and average Championship standard.
The only room for optimism was, thought Bannan sprayed the ball around well reminding me of Norwood, also thought their winger Valentin
was totally dominant in the 1st half, he skinned their left back every time.

Regards O’Brien, i was thinking the same, thought he was rubbish 1st half, altho every Boro player struggled in the 1st half.
2nd half O’Brien was OK/ average. The Boro player that stood out for me was Coburn, thought he looked really good in the 2nd half.

Lost Giles, Akpom and Archer. Between them must've been involved in about half their goals.

They do still have some good players for the level but they're having a nightmare of a season and you'd expect him to be gone if it continues on.

Nearly half a team when you include Steffen and Ramsey too.

Coburn was the pick of the bunch for Boro. He looked useful and is still only a pup. One we should be keeping an eye on.
 
How's he doing? I know he was very loved on here. Not seen loads of him in the past but LCM is a position we lack.
 
According to Nixon he's returning back to Forest this window and saying that Forest will now look for a Championship club to loan him to.

I’ve had more points took off my driving license for going 5mph over the speed limit. They’ve broke the laws of the game to get an unfair advantage and prosper hugely yet they got barely a poke up the back passage, the game stinks!

They were supposed to get a 6 point deduction which was still pathetic for spending in excess of £30M more than they should’ve done but they only got 4 points deducted because of their early plea and cooperation, how’s about no, they did the plea on time and had to cooperate you spineless cunts, stick to the punishment.

After all this, the tree shagging twats had the audacity to appeal it, they lost the appeal but still only got 4 points deducted, why didn’t it at least go back to the original punishment of 6 points which was again pathetic by the way or go even higher because of their fruitless appeal? It must’ve cost quite a bit of money to do all those processes yet they got away with a pokey bum wank, pathetic!

EDIT: this is expressing my general feeling towards O'Brien ever coming here, bit directed at any one post or poster.
 
I know we've probably moved on but at same time we'd be silly not to have at least put our name in the hat considering our midfield shortages..

Not what we need.
Only 5' 8" and injury prone.
Decent spell at Huddersfield - what seems like ages ago. Since then he's been loaned out to play in the MLS twice (think UK League One level, tops) and the Championship once, where he got injured.
If he was free then maybe I'd take a chance, but Forest will want good money.
Plus he'll be earning a fortune there.
We can do better.
