Imagine how boring football would be if it was played on a stats sheetOh, so we don't need goals or assists. We'll be fine without them. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yes. You're right.Nothing suggested McAtee or Ndiaye could create or score till they did
Probably about as boring as watching a team that loses 1-0 every week because it didn't sign players who can score or create.Imagine how boring football would be if it was played on a stats sheet
Find oneYes. You're right.
I'll say it again: we have enough unknown quantities as it is. He might be good. We need a surer thing than that with the squad we've got IMHO.
What a silly response. It's not up to me.Find one
Btw everyone going on saying “what about McAtee”
1. We have zero control over what city decide with him
2. He’d be the left sided player so Pellestri deal is irrelevant in him possibly signing
3. Let’s all calm down
You do realise loan deals require 3 yes votes, not just sign whoever the club wants? I’m sure they want Mbappe on loan but 2 of the votes are gonna be noWhat a silly response. It's not up to me.
If the club cannot produce a better loan signing than someone with no offensive output in 2 seasons we really will be in trouble.
He’ll play that right attacking mid role Berge took up when he went forward last year. Drive to the byline and flash it across
Tbf I reckon plan A was originally to try get Diallo but with him getting injured we're looking at Pellistri instead. I also can see us moving to try to play with wingers / wide forwards if we have one for either side in a 541 / 523, to be less reliant on our wingbacks going forward in the prem. The issue there though is nailing that lone ST role, Antonio for West Ham does it brilliantly.
Oh I didn't mean we try to sign Antonio, not much chance of that happeningAntonio would be great, but he's still starting and scoring for West Ham.
Had that Saudi money dangled in front of him recently too.
1170 minutes over 2 seasons., 32 games.

I don’t think you can fully rely on stats but brighton/brentford will both vouch for it as a key reason for their success. Neither are boring teams. You simply can’t ignore the benefit of utilising them and the information they can teach you.Imagine how boring football would be if it was played on a stats sheet
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-Uruguay-Bergara-Footballing-Journey/dp/B08KFYXMB6 This is a good readDanny Bergara was the assistant manager under Harry Haslam and Billy McEwan. He was caretaker manager for 2 matches in January 1988. Won both matches, a 100% record. A legend at Stockport County.

The main thing people are overlooking is do Man Utd want him “converting” in to a central player or do they want him to play in a side to build experience as a winger or wide forward.I have banged on about this lad getting more minutes at Man U to my mate (a Man U) fan for over a year.
Not sure if he can play a McAtee or Ndaiye role as he does look like a winger, but if he can convert to playing more central he would be a great addition.
If he can't play central, then it would be a barrier for Traore getting minutes and that would be disappointing.
Balde is a foreign Akpom and you cannot convince me otherwise. A 27 year old who for the first time in his career scored double digit league goals last seasonMama Balde.
Scored 12 in 32 last year plus a handful of assists.
Can play either wing and also up front.
Out of the two, I’d take him.
Pellistri has played the equivalent of 24 full matches in the past 3 seasons plus 2 games this season. He has one goal against Accrington and an assist vs Charlton to show for his efforts, both in minor cup competitions.
Maybe he’s a World Beater and I would concur that all players have to start somewhere but there is a bit of the Diego’s about this one.
If his name was Fred Potts and he had those stats, folk would be massively underwhelmed.
Just hoping we aren’t about to waste a signing.
Where does that leave Hamer?
You'd have a point if Akpom had played half his career at right full backBalde is a foreign Akpom and you cannot convince me otherwise. A 27 year old who for the first time in his career scored double digit league goals last season

You Had to spoil it with Norwood !!!!!Could mean a return to a better 5-3-2, with Pelistri, Souza and Hamer behind 2 strikers........although I think we will be playing a 5-4-1 0r a 5-3-1-1 more often this season so Pelistri could play the Ndaiye role behind a single striker, (which Archer would suit) and bring in an extra midfielder, (Slimane or Norwood)....either way Hamer is in to stay.
