not saying he won't do just saying we should know better than to expect so much from him as we have done in the past with new signings . He might be great but trying to keep both feet on the ground he could be a disappointment .Hope not we all want the same but history tells me not to get to giddy and expect to much .Who else is there
You said its accelerating rapidly, now you want patience.. I aint a doctor. Have patience.. Been after him since January, embargo haulted that. So seems we have been very patient since promotion was confirmed, almost static.
Just my opinion pal. You'll know better obviously![]()
hopefully you are right mateTrusty is gonna make a big difference there. I like Robbo but Trusty is an upgrade and will add solidity there
It's rare any manager has 100% success with a transfer window. Even when Wilder shaped a side from 11th in league one to getting 100 points he signed a few like a Chris Hussey who didn't work out.Evening Chris
Larouci looks far from a finished article ( based on one game against a very good side) .. time to develop.. , or convert to left midfield, he's got a turn of paceI agree with you but Hecky signing a LWB is Hecky admitting he's fucked up with Larouci so that ain't happening

Strange use of a loan signing, going after a development player. Needed much better.
I think he’ll do alright. Powerful and likes to get forward. Stuff for the coaching staff to refine but the raw materials are there.Give him time, players don't always adapt immediately
Mcatee for example had a few absolutely nightmarish games for us to begin with last year
larrouci might look a lot better if we bring somebody like obrien in to support him we definetly need a left sided midfielder to give balance to the side
Can we sing 'Sign the cunt' in the style of the Everley Brothers for added emphasis ? It does seem a surefire winner.Right then. Assuming this is almost done, which thread do I next post 'Just sign the cunt' on?
100% success rate so far![]()
I'm not one for tempting fate but I do feel I've got another signing in me.Can we sing 'Sign the cunt' in the style of the Everley Brothers for added emphasis ? It does seem a surefire winner.
Does anyone else wonder what actually goes on in signing a player.
Watched the Tottenham documentary when they " signed" morinho . Must have been 2 lawyers on either side plus officialls with contracts like the telephone directories that must have taken days to prepare and looked more like a company acquisition. Suppose there's legal people, financial people , medical people , agents , insurers etc. Bewildering.
Then again buying a house for 100k takes 3 to 4 months , buying a company 6 to 12 months so spending £10m on a player and taking a week or 2 seams quick by comparison. Days of a handshake and "well see you at training" long gone .
It’s an foreign loan though so not included in the two domestic loans.Strange use of a loan signing, going after a development player. Needed much better.
That is superb
I’d hope we’re paying Osborn and Fleck more than Brewster based on actual impact and output in the last 3 seasons.Don't disagree with some of the points but Brewster isn't our highest paid player, quite a few earning more than him from what I was told.
Season started last Saturday so the idea was we got people in before that. Yesterday would have made no difference.Internet has made everyone a right bunch of mardy moaning bastards. Everyone wants everything yesterday.
I know a player who cloughie snr boughtDoes anyone else wonder what actually goes on in signing a player.
