I don't think we will be actively trying to sell him now, but then again when it comes to United, never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. Who knows what they will do next.

Burnley have only a marginally better chance of staying up than Utd and have little/no chance of qualifying for a Eur spot, so signing up for 3-4 years with them would make no sense

To be honest, at this point j don’t have a problem with it. We haven’t done enough to stay up in my opinion, and if we do we have left it late. Doyle joined us in June last year for example.

If we can sell berge and say her obrien and another for 4/5 years let’s just do it.

Reading between the lines with the HRA interview, he basically said that players of some transfer value wont be allowed to leave for free. That means selling before they become available for free. Therefore, Berge will likely be leaving and I wouldnt be surprised if Jebbo goes out of the door as well.

What a mess we are in. Getting promoted only to have the same fire sale we were all expecting if we'd remained in the Championship.

Not sure whether he would go to Burnley though. From our perspective, strengthening a team expected to be in the bottom three with us would be probably the most ridiculous decision we have made this window - and that is saying something given how bad this window has been thus far.
