Appreciate the complexity of transfer dealing but that lack of urgency is startling given we’re in danger of writing 10% of the season off with a sub par squad to the deadline.

We should have been (and hopefully we are to give them the benefit of doubt) ina position to move very quickly for one or two replacement players for Ndiaye now that he has gone. The sale of Ndiaye was always a possibility and hasn't just crept up on us. We should have sourced the players, had the chats with the parties concerned and be ready to push on quickly. I think Hecky himself alluded to this last night re wanting to crack on and having players 'lined up'. There is always a chance that things can change or players previously available suddenly become unavailable, but really there is no excuse for us not being able to crack on now with signings and moving quickly. We might have to move up a gear from sloth mode.

And that is exactly what "support" should be in my view. Seems the modern way is to mock, deride and ridicule. I find it sad, that some of the clubs biggest detractors are it's own "supporters." We don’t know what contingency plans are in place for replacements.
If we get to 31st Aug without 2/3 acquisitions and two loans, then criticising the management of the club will be fully justified.
