Great photos as per HH, but the Eddie Shinwell one Knocked mi soxs off.
Soxs being the definitive word, as in mi seventy odd years following United I have never seen that style, thinner hoops, sox before. I realise the photo is before my time. I know Owls had that style just pre war, with a white turnover where as these seem to have a red one.
Could these be the soxs Blades started the 1939-40 season? Anyone.
