I'm really liking this policy of bringing in young up and coming players, what's not to like? If they work out we have got players at a knock down price and if the worst happens we have a young team to have a go at getting back into the Premier League. If we do have to sell one or two we are sure to make a profit, Ok some might not work out but at least we won't have thrown £20m down the shitter.

The squad was in desperate need of freshening up with some new players with some being permanents, as we hadn't had a permanent transfer with the exception of Abel for about 5 transfer windows. The squad was getting jaded age wise and a few new faces gives everyone a boost. Younger players was exactly what we needed. A few more through the door and we are set to go and have a good base if the worst happens and we are back in the Championship next season. Intelligent signings so far.

I liked Hecky's comments that he works hard in pressing without the ball too. Something we are certainly going to need to do. The more we can be nuisances, the better chance we have of staying up.

Not overly concerned (yet) about the AFCON. He is yet to play a game for the Ivory Coast first team. Larouci is rumoured to be switching to Algeria, but again, no guarantee of this and guarantee he'll be called up either. We also only have two (relatively ok) league games in January, so worst case scenario, it's just those they miss.

I must have missed the part where we were buying the attributes of the Allsvenskan as a whole, and not a specific player who played within it whose skillset we think will contribute to the squad.
