I moan about Nixon but he's usually on the money, just has an annoying way about him.
On the deal, I get fees, wages and negotiations taking a while, but it always blows my mind when paperwork takes forever...
Don't you just write it up, print it, sign it?

The paperwork for someone from another country has to be sent to FA, then the FA has to send it to FA that foreign player played in who then have to check that there are no outstanding suspensions to be served or fines to be paid before they inform our FA that all is OK and can be registered.
Believe it or not, same process applies to amateur teams as well, but at that level, permission is granted by default if foreign FA hasn't responded in (something like) 28 days

Lewis O'Brien still makes a lot of sense on the left, but a major upgrade on Norwood is going to be vital to our chances.
If we go back to the PL with zero mobility in the middle of the park the result will be similar.
The only future Norwood has in our PL XI would be if we decide to play off a double pivot and I can't see it.

Don't think any of our signings are immediate improvements on the first XI yet.
Need to make really good use of our domestic loans... (and pray Ndiaye has a change of heart).

Yep 2021 season was a winger.
Missed 2022 season with nasty leg injury
2023 season converted to striker where he's really blossoming.

At least he'll be coming in fully match fit having playing 1/3rd of a season already.

Yeah was thinking the same. The players coming in are all exciting, even if unproven at this level.
That being said, Ndiaye leaving would still leave a massive hole, when with the new additions.

We need a couple of solid CMs now and another CB, then I think we are set.
