I doubt he'll go to city. He's fantastic, but not their normal style (they tend to ruthlessly pick you apart as a team rather than have individuals take on multiple players and risk losing the ball). If they were interested it's one way we could get Doyle and Macca back though.

Not that young.... but only two years of regular senior football, through which time he's improved constantly

Only mark against him for me is he should have hit 20 last season. And maybe he could improve his longer range shooting - if his work rate pushes him into top 10 PL territory, scoring from distance occasionally would push him easily into top 4

Ndiaye, similar circumstances and profile, arguably more profile with his stint at the World Cup and since on International duty.

Permanently? 100%. But it would never happen. Ndiaye's market value is too low given his contract situation and he isn't ready (and may never be up to the standard) for City.

I think he'd be a great rotation option for Gabriel Jesus.
In terms of starting every week in the PL, somewhere like Palace is probably his level right now.
