United win hands down

Some of those figures are surprising. 712000 TikTok followers ain’t bad.

Not surprised too much about the overall figure of 2.3m though and I don’t think it’s purely down to our recent stint in the Premier League.

In general we’ve been the city’s higher profile club for a couple of decades which has coincided with the social media age.

We’ve had numerous cup runs and play-off finals. Plenty of controversy and national attention, not all bad, and had some huge talking points for the pundits over the years.

Dodgy relegations involving alleged match fixing, Tevez, perfectly good goals (Villa) not given, treble assault season, Battle of Bramall Lane, Ched Evans, the list goes on and on.

Love us or hate us, we’re an interesting club to keep an eye on, whatever your affiliations.

It's entirely down to our recent stint in the Premier League.

In the season we were promoted (2018-19), Wednesday had more social media followers than us.

The prince has 1.1 million followers on Twitter. The club has less than half of that!

I can guarantee a lot of our social media following are paid for bots and inactive accounts

My favourite part about TikTok is how they were so late to it an 8 year old girl took the handle first

Not sure with the other 4 sites but twitter we have nearly 200k more than the pigs but get similar amount reactions to tweets aka players leaving, new signings etc.

Yep, in the last 20 years alone we've been to 3 FA Cup semi finals, 2 League Cup finals, 3 Play Off finals, got knocked out of the Play Offs three times in the semi finals, got promoted to the Premier League 3 times, finished 9th in the Premier League, got relegated all the way down to League One and back up again.

It's certainly not boring supporting the Blades.
