I agree. The worst i saw was Notts Forest a few years ago the game ended 1-1.
It annoys me how I now want our players to take time when we're winning. Would a time keeper work?

They deserved a point indeed, they were the better side for long periods. It doesn't mean they didn't chuck themselves to the floor at every opportunity, stamp, headbutt, elbow and intimidate ball boys. Oh and don't forget Mr Delirious himself on the sidelines.

Alot of the added time was due to Oldham's constant fouling.
Lucky for the Blades when Long was taken out and he went through the advertising board,his head just missed the support bar by inches.
Their tactics were to unsettle the young keeper the ref should have noticed this .As it ended up a yellow went to each team for the incident Oldham must have been chuckling over that.
A more experienced keeper would have stayed down and waited for a trainer putting more pressure on the ref.

They had a free header in the first minute, were almost through following Doyle's mistake, had the goal disallowed and another headed chance from a free kick.

We had McDonald's shot off target from Flynn's pass early on. Kitson was wrongly judged to be offside when he was played through down our left.

The Scandinavian Blades were there that day against Forest and I felt cheated having come all that way to watch 90 minutes of football while effective playing time felt like 30.

Did you not see the stamp?
The repeated fake injuries?
The dives?
The attempting to bully our young keeper by shoving him into an advertising board?
The manager sprinting 20 yards down the line going ballistic and claiming a penalty any time they were in our box?
The delaying of the penalty and trying to put Blackman off?
The attempt to get a player sent off for standing on the ball?
The continual challenges after the ball?

There's a massive clue when a couple of them laugh at the crowd and make gestures, reveling in conning the spineless officials.

To confirm, I agree they deserved a draw and were the better team for long periods. It doesn't mean I like to watch they way they play.

I saw Long shoved, I saw them delay the penalty but I really cannot believe you make a biggish deal out of this when it had no bearing on the game at all really. All your other points i have no idea what you are on about other than the one about them deserving a draw which is key and seriously am delighted we agree on the important thing.
