I thought it was a good game
Not many chances but plenty of bite and edge
Bit like a Derby or a cup game

Were any of the podders at the game yesterday? I don’t recall them mentioning it. A lot of social media or online writeups, including SUWay seem to think it was a dull match. I thought it was a cracker in the second half, but when you’re enjoying the singing, you can get a skewed view

As non-drinkers at games, me and my 16yo lad rated this as the second best away day of the season, after Blackpool
I’d add Hull and Sunderland into the list as amongst the best away performances and atmospheres. The last two away days have been noticeably better in terms of support. Yesterday, the noise was good from the off, but when Huddersfield starting dismantling Boro the lift in noise was appreciable. It seemed to lift the boys on the pitch and we scored shortly afterwards. I thought it was a great away performance, defensively very strong from everyone, whilst not being free flowing or flamboyant.

Crowd were fantastic all the way through. You had to be pissed to enjoy the first half. The only incident of note was the handbags near the dugouts.

That and maybe Sander's header and Anel's header which hit their defender and went on to the bar, but it was that kind of game. Nothing from open play and scraps from corners.

Second half a much better game for reasons I don't understand (I'm generally baflled by anything beyond hoof it into the channels) but which PH talked about post-match.

Yea, we seemed to be in good position throughout the game and better side overall. We also looked mature and confident which is good considering possible promotion altho I still think we need new players after the season.

Why is the Norwich fan so angry he playing his crutches like a air guitar

Don’t know much about referee, Andy Davies. Hope he’s a muppet, we need a good atmosphere today

3-0 Blades

Wigan have lost 2 of their past 6 and beat QRR last time out. It won't be an easy game.

Going to be a difficult one today. They're fighting for their lives and got a few good results recently, including winning last time out. Going to be a scrap.

What is the difference between a potential banana skin and a banana skin. Isn't the word potential superfluous?
The game is only a banana skin if we lose. Hence 'potential' banana skin.

I think that in football, 'potential banana skins' are games that we're expected to win, but might not. Thus, Burnley away isn't a potential banana skin. But Wigan at home is a definite PBS.

Now, any team news?
