No team in the world is invincible and although the odds are stacked heavily in City's favour there is that tiny bit of hope that the unimaginable can happen.
Many shock results have happened in F.A.cup history and maybe ,just maybe we can write our own history.
It's not impossible so let the footballing god's . just for once , be in our favour. UTB!

32 years ago i was convinced if i could chat to Debbie Harry for just 30 seconds, i could bed her.
i got almost a minute with her at a gig in coventry, and i can still feel the kick she landed on my balls.
You should absolutely follow your dreams, but wear bollock protection.
If i lose i still have the old slag next door to shag, and we still have the league.
No one ever got anywhere by settling for second best.

They're a team full of nobodies like this Haaland geezer, can't say I've heard of him, is he any good?

When citeh played Wigan in the cup final my mate 1k on citeh to win.
It was a nailed on bet.
Saw him that night in pub.
He was gutted.

It'd take a miracle for us to not concede at least three.

Out only hope is that they rest a few big players. City are away in Germany midweek for the Champions League prior to the semi (we'll be hoping Bayern can take them to extra time there) and have a big game in the Premier League against Arsenal after it.

If they do that, it might be 3-0 instead of 7 😂

Yeah you’re right. We’ve also got two players coming bang in form… Doyle and McAtee… oh ffs

I think both should be allowed by City to play as it will aid their future development in preparing for massive games ( build up etc etc ) I know that’s wearing biased spectacles but surely the juggernaut that is Man City shouldn’t be afraid of letting either play ? We let the mighty Ryan Leonard play against us whilst he was out on loan ! Unfortunately we all know they won’t let them play ! Shame for both !
As ever UTB !

They can’t play because of the FA Cup rules. City have no say in it.

Burnley tried to play City at there own game. If we lose it'll be by a goal or two not a heavy spanking.

Love your optimism, but...

Man City FA cup journey 2023

Played 4
Scored 14
Conceded 0

🤔

They play Bayern and Arsenal either side of us. The only hope if they rest Haaland and a few more and struggle to score.

There's no way they'll carry this form unt then though, so there's that.

Having watched City a few times this season. As much as I love us. We have no chance.

It’s not even good football, it’s not Tika Taka. I call it Japanese Knotweed. They just squeeze the life out of the opposition team. It’s cool, calculated football.

I’m so proud of the lads getting this far, and they deserve to go out and play against the best team in my opinion in world football.

When we played them at Etihad in our crap premier league season, we lost 1-0 and had about 10% possession, but we did have a half sniff of a chance late on.

This is not going to be a fun watch, or expansive football, but we need to play like we did then. Men behind the ball, keep it tight, hope for a chance on the break late on.

Is this guaranteed to work? Of course not, we’ve virtually no chance of winning, but it’s probably our best chance - Burnley tried to play them at their own game, and looked decent for half an hour to be fair…then lost 6-0. This is Burnley we’re talking about, the team that’s lost 2 all season and hasn’t lost since we beat them in November.

Think our Wes is a better goalie than who Burnley used, so possibly more of chance to keep the score down

We should play in the Wigan kit
last 4 v city in the prem we've lost 3 times 1-0 and got thrashed 2-0 in the cricket score loss

we are built on our defence , they may have Haaland but we have Ndiaye

they will under estimate us at their peril

they have lost to red n white stripes already this season 1-2 at home to brentford

and 2-0 in the league cup at Southampton so are fallable

When the ref got in the bloody way

If a citeh gets an early red for pulling back Illie as he goes thru on goal after turning Stones around in circles, then we have a chance. Problem is playing against any Citey 11 is they are so clinical and we are not. That is what half a billion investment in players gets you. Still enjoy the day out and may it be a regular trip.

Paragraph 4. Copied from Steve Cryan Handsworth Blades.

I went to watch City v Everton a couple of months back. You may not have seen it, but Haaland lost his head completely, went sliding in on an Everton player and it was one of those where he could have easily got a straight red if things were an inch different. The lad can be got at. Maybe we have the players who can get at him.

Many don’t, but I think he will start. He hasn’t played at Wembley before. A red for Haaland would be our best hope

And note (until he accomplishes his stated dream of winning the premier league with Leeds), I really like the lad. But I like the blades quite a large amount more.

ok maybe he hasnt played at wembley before but city will be confident of beating us and getting to the final he will be on the bench against us no way will he start with arsenal on the wednesday after

apparently Hecky was on talksport this morning saying they've been told current rules only apply to league fixtures and they've made the request to City, who knows but also why would City say yes anyway
