The handball rule has always been so easy to fix.

Just make it black and white, if the ball hits your hand then it's handball.

Lively encounter. Fairly even overall. We could easily have been behind within the first few minutes. End to end after that.

There's is a pen under the rules but the rules are stupid. He was spinning round and his arms were in a natural position for balance. Over the last few decades the rules of the game have progressively been pushing towards making it less of an actual competitive sport. Like his tackle. He gets the ball but also takes the man from behind so that should be a booking, but it shouldn't in a bloody competitive sport.

Anyway, could go either way this (or all the bloody way to penalties). We're attacking pretty well but so are they. Need to tighten it up in the middle, as always.

I'm not buying or selling here, but people compare him with 35k Brian Deane, for example, and assume for his price he will be MOTM every game.

Let's be honest he's got lots to improve on (tenacity, heading, dare I say it desire), but when he's on the ball he doesn't give it away often. Not sure if the stats support that view, but he doesn't seem to give possession away easily.
