Blackman & Cressie to start. Switch to Blackman & Kitson at start of second half.

Apart from that, stop ambling out at the beginning of the game, don't waste the first 15 minutes pissing about and letting them settle, rip straight into 'em.

Keep Blackman and Cofie, but stop pumping balls up to them in the air. Play to their feet and tell them to stay closer together. Stop spraying the ball to the touchline for them to chase.

Since we have no wingers we might as well put two men on Cotterill when we can. I still expect him to have a good game and I equally expect people to continue to maintain he's rubbish and we were right to get rid of him.

Play Gallagher on the right and tell him to beat his man, get to the byline, and above all, deliver crosses.

Drop Westlake. Play McAllister in central midfield and tell him his job is to bust a gut to support strikers when McDonald has the ball. I don't think he's a defensive midfielder so we might as well play to his strengths. He needs to get forwards.

Either Mcfadzean or Tonne on the left, probably Mcfadzean, who can tackle and get stuck into Cotterill.

Controversial I know.

He's not that type of player. Gallagher's game is all about cutting in from the left to shoot or looking for the short ball inside. He's a good player but he's not an out and out winger.

I would drop him to be honest. Works hard by running around a lot but seems to let games pass him by and doesn't get involved enough. Could end up being a decent player but has a long way to go. At the moment I would opt for one of the academy lads ahead of him. Either Harriott or Whitehouse if he's regained full fitness.

In response to the OP I would make a number of changes, two of which would be in midfield. Fitness and availability permitting:-

Howard
McMahon - Maguire - Collins - Hill
Miller - McDonald - Harriott/Whitehouse - McFadzean
Blackman - Cresswell

Think the lad Miller will be bursting for a chance and has acquitted himself well when he's come on previously. He's looked threatening from wide areas when he's had the chance and would give us more width. Seems like a lot of changes I know but if we line up as we did on Saturday I cant see anything other than a repeat performance.

Well we signed Gallagher as a winger because we already have six strikers. He was ineffective on the left, I honestly can't see how his game is based on playing there and cutting inside. There wasn't any cutting in or shooting!

I would play Whitehouse too but he isn't going to be fit.

I think this all underlines how difficult it is blooding the youngsters. I thought before the game that Westlake was a good bet. Obviously you can't write anyone off after one game, he'll get another chance but I wouldn't play him tomorrow. The thing is there are several youngsters with good potential but they all have weaknesses and need to develop further.

McFadzean would play with a much higher tempo but I would leave Gallagher on the left and give Jordan Chappell his chance on the right. I certainly wouldn't play McAllister wide. He is the only other candidate for central midfield whilst Whitehouse is injured (who still had a plastic boot on Saturday, so he must be at least a month away).

We could have done without the stupidity that meant Doyle and Flynn sit out 3 games but when they return it'll be more balanced - Flynn on the right, Doyle and McD in the middle and Gallagher left.

I received these two messages from my Donny Rovers supporting friend which my be of interest:

I see you have signed the ginger cheat(Kitson) When we played Portsmouth last season , he dived from outside the area into it and got a penalty, which he scored, then late on he fouled our keeper and in doing so scooped the ball into the net with his hand, he was also up to his tricks when we played Reading the other season. After the Portsmouth game John Ryan published his thoughts on an incompetent ref and was fined £6000 for his trouble. No I will not be at the lane next week I tend not to go to away games ,only once per season next year it is Bournemouth April 19th

Are you one of those moaning Blaades from Praise or Grumble I listened on Saturday and had a laugh, all the "am a blaade an its a grumble" You have not lost yet this season. Will be interesting tomorrow,we are starting to gel together and our huge back four are starting to really play against the hoofball tactics, we still have frailties in midfield but it will come right in the end. I look at it in the way that we are a Div1 side and cannot expect Prem football I am satisfied this season if we can scrape a win now and then, and finish mid table

You're right there wasn't but he never got into the game for me. Struggled and I think probably due to a lack of match practice. That is his style though, I've seen him play many times.

Decent signing then if it pisses Donny fans off.

We have had a penalty winner/diver since Jack Lester.

Two men on Cotterill? Perhaps the same two who kidnapped him just before kick-off at Wembley?

He's rubbish and we were right to get rid of him. Another departed legend who just gets better and better!

Not controversial at all yer spot on

More of the same, or would you like us to make any changes to the first eleven?

With the greatest respect to you all who have suggested team changes, subs, formations and the like, my suggestion to the players is just go out there and fuckin win !!

Oh aye, I remember that now and the Donny fan's quite correct, Kitson was a disgrace and how anyone could applaud or condone that type of cheating is beyond me. Be quality if we have him and Cresswell up front tomorrow then, the ref had better bring a spare pea for his whistle because the two of them will spend more time on their arse than on their feet. I hope we beat Donny, I hope we batter them to be honest but I hope we do it without resorting the the brand of bullshit football that seems to be the fashion right now.

If these two jokers aren't fit enough to run, and if they aren't strong enough to withstand a fair challenge then piss off. I hate cheats, I hate cheats even more when they play for my team. We used to delight in battering these types of players, now we're in danger of becoming a team that's full of them.

Wow - care to expand? We've established that someone thinks Kitson dived once at Donny in 2011. It's hardly qualfication for the Olypmic diving squad just yet.

Its part of the game now. Until FIFA retrospectively come down on cheats it will always be in the game. If the FA gave Welbeck a ban for that dive he took against Wigan then he and others would think twice about doing it again.

I dont like cheats never have but how many penalties should we have had last year that werent given compared to the ones that were that shouldnt?

Spot on. It's the only thing that will help.

Exactly even recently we have had some stonewall penalties turned down. If FIFA or the FA are not going to get tough with divers then for me Kitson can dive as much as he likes especially if it means it evens up the poor decisions.

The Spanish league is the only league that have refs that do yellow card divers from time to time. I have never seen any ref in the PL or below yellow carded for diving. I think at the moment this is an FA issue and they are not forcing refs in this country to be tougher on divers.

I have seen our players booked for diving before. But when the ref gives the foul and its deemed that the foul winner dived then ban him afterwards. The ref wouldnt book him as he thought the foul was genuine. Yes it doesnt help the aggrieved team but the cheat would think twice if they not only have to cheat a ref but also the tv cameras as well

Don't you watch MOTD then? I have seen forwards being booked. In particular Torres a few times, then he usually looks at the ref as if he is going to cry!
