In all seriousness that's a sought after jacket that you won't struggle to find a buyer for. Not quite holy grail but you don't see them that often.

On a typical day that'll fetch £100 easily.

Depending on size (large tends to attract the most interest), condition (it looks in good nick) and whether you've got 2 people going against each other (on eBay for example) ... you could look at doubling that on a good day. There's a different Blades tracksuit from the same era on eBay right now for £175.

I'm sure there are members who have posted in thread looking for this sort of thing.

Yeah that aint selling for £175. The back has some weird logo and writing on, way overpriced. Nobody wants it, been on over a month now

Yeah you're right, should've added context. It was more to highlight the kind of ballpark figure you might find at the top end of the price range

I have that in mint XL. Bloody huge sizing unlike stuff today. Think I paid about £30 off eBay yonks ago. The leisure wear stuff seems to be gathering in value all the time.

Classic football shirts ruined the market. I don’t have many classic shirts other than a couple of favourites including the track top I mentioned.

I got rid of a load of old United tops I didn’t want and couldn’t be bothered to sell to some guy organising them for a charity in Africa. He saw what I had and was offering silly money for them. Whole accounts devoted to classic kits and the money for them is barmy. 100+ for that jacket is insane but doubt I’d ever want to part with it.

Kids now go mad about wearing the same clothes I was bullied for wearing in school - madness

Shirts nearly all gone, home shirt XL and away shirt L. These are genuine adidas from the club shop Both brand new with tags £20 each or £35 the pair + £3.50 postage. Not Chinese copies.

I'm not really a collector, but I buy the odd shirt to run in. Re Classic Football Shirts, you just have to avoid there and stick to Facebook groups: you still get bargains that way. Got a Flamengo 98-99 shirt last week for £30 near mint. Just someone looking for a quick sale.

Yes, I love classic shirts, but hate how inflated the market is for them......am loving seeing modern replicas trickling through, some with the sponsor on for Prem clubs. And I hope there's a future where anyone can afford any shirt!

I don't care if my shirts lose most of their value, it's BS as it is!

Yes I do and it’s one I will sell however it’s currently my lucky shirt, I have worn it from the Burnley game and since then every time I’ve seen us live we have won!!
I don’t think I am brave enough to change but happy to sell the minute I see us lose hopefully not until the end of the season
