Stewards tonight on the kop

The eldest (5, nearly 6) got to use her ST yesterday (rare 3pm Sat) and I took her to the toilet at half time…

It was queuing into the entrance, so I walked her round the queue to stand where there was some space rather than cluttering the entrance.

One of the young lads at the front of the queue eyeballed me, til I explained I wasn’t pushing in, just standing out of the way…

Him and his mate then proceeded to offer to let us push in front and go in the cubicle first, before they both then went in the next one available and sniff away…

Not sure what the moral to this story is 🤣
I don't care if they're nearly 6, it's still to young to be snorting coke in the bogs at halftime.

It’s best summed in one one sentence with swear words

“Sit in your fucking designated seat and show your fucking card”

Don’t give this jealous ridden Wendy dominated council arseholes a reason they are looking for
I'd be interested to know which of the 80 plus councillors support United and how many support the Pigs. You obviously know the answer to determine the council is "Wendy" dominated or perhaps you maybe are mistaken that it is council officers carrying out their duties as per their job descriptions as employees of the council where you know them personally and their football allegiances?

Clubs losing around 30k a home game
Because of restrictions ,
It’s a ball ache to be asked, numerous times , but it’s a restriction on people attending , better atmosphere
Let’s do it right or we’ll end up like Dum pigs 🐷 with areas ( all safe otherwise ) being constantly closed
I've no problem with showing my ST if asked, I don't think the club are losing 30k per match though.
They've just moved to BLUT, which was quite full yesterday. Much better view also.

"How dare someone tell me I have to abide by the terms and conditions of the ticket I bought. I've been going to the Lane for 125 years and it has never been a problem before. I didn't vote for Brexit to have to follow rules and regulations. I'm not letting some jobsworth tell me I'm wrong. They're young, educated and a few are actually women. What is the world coming to? I bet they're all woke as well."
WTF has Brexit got to do with?

So you can engage like an adult after all. Maybe it's an opportunity for the club to reset the seating arrangements to allow the younger, more vocal elements of our fan base to sit together and actually create an atmosphere.
To be fair, I was responding to a fairly childish post. Reminded me of one of my grandkids. I tailor the tone of my posts to the intended audience.

But yes, I agree that a reset of seating arrangements and safe standing areas is the obvious solution. I just don’t want morons in our fan base giving the morons in the SAG/council any excuses to close the kop in the meantime.

Yesterday at top of the kop, 1st entrance , the grey haired steward (hes been there for years ) and really nice, not the ones checking the tickets was talking to someone and i was caught behind them for a short while , he was saying that the area he was in was getting closed down,
As i wasnt listening to the full exchange it could have been permanently or just for the cup game. To clariffy which entrance around the seat numbers 180 plus

Because they’ve sat there for years and years. That’s how it works.
And people reckon the young lads standing together are entitled! I know that's how it works, I'd like you to explain why that should be the case?

I saw one looking at the BBC website on his phone. Another said Gary Neville was a decent bloke and had donated a lot to charity.

Noose and gibbet for all of them I say!
I wouldn’t send them there for a pint - they’d never come out alive.

By the same token why should someone be entitled to the same seat year on year simply because they've sat there for X amount of years?

If they've paid for the ticket, and it's got that seat number on the ticket, then surely that entitles them?

I'm all for any ideas that improve the noise / atmosphere, it is needed. But anyone who simply goes in with a "fuck everyone I'll do what I want" attitude, well that's not going to work out.

Whatever anyone thinks of the Council and the SAG, they have the power to shut things down

If they’ve requested it and they’ve paid for it, what’s not to like? I can live with that better than a self entitled cunt deciding he’ll have it.

Four times? No way. I've been going to the Lane now 60 years. I'm not starting to be treated as a 'suspect' now. You behave as a prick if you want to. I refuse.
It’s a one off & if we all do what they’re asking us to for one game then they might let tickets sales happen again. People like you ‘refusing’ will probably be reported back to the council & then furthers the problem.

Its probably the first time that’s happened to you in 60 years so just accept it

That's not the issue though is it? Why shouldn't I be able to sit in your seat next season if I wanted to? Is the fact that you've sat there for X amount of years really a valid reason for you to be able to sit there? In effect its dead man's shoes. How is that a fair way to allocate the best views? Obviously I'm playing devil's advocate but why does it have to be the case?

So why didn't you just say that instead of the condescending bollocks you did?

What’s your house like? Because if it’s any good and in a nice area I’m thinking of moving in next weekend and taking over the mortgage/rent. You can fuck off somewhere else. Is that ok?

I don't think there's an issue with people taking other people's seats. They're congregating in the seats their mates are in. My issue is why OUR club is being singled out especially without a grain of evidence to show there is any danger or that there's been any incidents at all.

If they have sat in the same seat for twenty five years. They decide when they fucking move Cheesebored not you. Because they were here when we were shit and they most likely will still be here, when and if, we are shit again. will the entitled pricks causing these problems stick around in the bad times? I wonder. I have a nice seat with a great view half way up the kop,not affected by any of these problems. If they rebuild the kop and leave the bottom seating I will try and sit about in the same place. I've been sitting there since they put seats on the kop. I believe it is only right that people can keep the same seat season after season. You know what you get when that happens? loyalty.

I love a reasoned debate. You don't own your seat at BDTBL. I bet your grandkids really look forward to your insightful chats.

With you there.

This must be happening at other clubs, what's being done about that by their respective councils or SAG?

You’ve obviously not voted for a while. By the side of each candidate’s name, they put the name of the football team they support… And Wednesday’s support is so massive and politically literate that all their candidates get in with landslide majorities.

WEl vote them out at the next council elections?

Firstly try the reply button and it will make debate so much easier. Secondly, why is it 'only right' that people can sit in the same seat season after season. It 'only being right' isn't a great argument is it?

I think that you’ve just switched on for an argument, season ticket holders have always been able to request the same seat, right from my grandad’s days in the old centre stand in the 1950s.

Ok. Some fucker who like attention (there’s a few) get a poll up. After dem blades professionally disposed of Swansea yesterday “what triggers you more, pigeons or stewards”
