If anyone’s got something new to this debate, please post it. 15 pages of, essentially, the same arguments, for and against, starts to get a little dull.

The squad is playing well within itself. They are frequently required to carry players as diverse as Sharp, Stevens and Berge.
Still well clear of the chasing pack. You just know (PH) that one of them will produce a match winning goal or assist eventually.

PH believes in Berge, or he has been told to play Berge to get him in the shop window and sold.

Meanwhile the rest of the squad just keeps on winning with limited resources , due to injury, illness, suspension or politics. What’s not to like?

Agreed. He’s certainly better in that more advanced role or down the right, but didn’t seem to be getting involved enough.

Doyle, on the other hand was class and no idea why he went off for Osborn as we lost all shape and discipline with him on.
