Some suggestions of players who might be a bit out of favour from their clubs but potential loan?

Caveat, I’ll be way off with some, but any suggestions? Have to be out of favour enough for their club to let them move on, but good enough to possibly contribute.

Reiss Nelson (Arsenal)
Pellestri (Man U)
Skipp, Sarr (Spurs)
Nakamba, Archer (Villa)
Ritchie, Anderson (Newcastle)
Mendy (Leicester)
Ferguson (Brighton)
Ghoddos (Brentford)
Riedewald, Hughes (Palace)
Colback (Forest)
Rothwell, Pearson, Dembélé, Brooks (Bournemouth)

Riedewald is a left footed defensive midfielder and is about 1m92. Anyone know much of him? Profile fits a lot of what we need. He’s 26.

If Bournemouth want Brooks or Dembélé to get games then especially for Brooks, somewhere familiar might not be a bad placement for 6 months.

Any thoughts or additions to the list?

I don’t think the list is too dissimilar to what they will be looking at tbh. I can see some surprises. Although I don’t see us taking gambles and brooks would be a gamble

8 goals and 6 assists in 47 matches.

That does however include a hat-trick in a 10-1 win against some Bolivian Farmers.

It's also padded with 2 goals in 6 in the youth cup and there are State championships which would be like having a South Yorkshire league.

So his actual senior record is more like Brazil Serie A plus Brazil Cup = 36 games, 3 goals and 5 assists. Respectable though his numbers tended to be against the lower ranking teams, nobody above 7th I think.

How does he get a work permit? He's an U20, not full international. I assume it's that the top tier of Brazil league is good enough.

Seems to play a similar position to the one Sarr occupies which does make you wonder...

From the Coulibaly article posted in GBC

“With the manager not expecting to see any incomings during the January transfer window unless key players are sold,”

I worry a little bit about quotes like that, as I do wonder how much of a direct line NH has to the upper echelons of the club.
Is he a bit of a club mouth-piece? There to manage fan expectations..

It'd be such a shame if the board didn't back PH this January with the position he's got us into.
Complacency would be criminal. Our competition will strengthen. We've seen how quickly our squad depth can diminish and our form doesn't hold up when it does.

I posed the question yesterday, can anyone recall a club getting promoted that didn’t sign a single player in the JTW? I can’t.

I think if BOTH (a) Brewster isn't going to be fit until Feb or beyond, and (b) Sharp doesn't have a really good December... Then we'll sign a striker, most likely on loan.

If midfielders look likely to be fit, we'll trust the ones on the books (Coulibaly an added bonus, hopefully).

It sounds like Brewster will be late-Feb at the earliest, along with RND.

We must have an awful amount of confidence in Jebbo or it goes without saying that we need an additional striker. I think we can manage with what we have got in other departments.

Why do people think we are signing anyone when any incomings in the summer post Anel were only going to happen if we sold Berge?

You know HRH tightarse will spend minimal as he wants to get shut ... hey ho it's The Blades stopped hoping years ago UTB

Also, if McBurnie gets sent down for stepping over that dog botherer at Forest.

Surely the striker alert is if McBurnie gets sent down (v unlikely) and/or Khadra sent back (likely)?

Another loan imo.

Do we really have too many for an EFL squad?
I don’t think so, but one or more of the current squad would have to be left out or moved on, otherwise we are paying high wages for not playing.

Why do we need to add to the awesome squad we already have?

Loan market possible if needed, but why spend money we haven’t got, just to improve a top quality squad? Even Billy scored last time out ffs.

Loan players usually take time to settle and fit in. PH has the chance to rotate players at last. Some fans don’t trust him, but look what he has achieved already. JTW is for desperate clubs and we are not desperate!

It’s the managers job to manage, so let him manage, unless you think he was just ‘Lucky’ with all those injuries?

Why did we add in January when we won League One and when we got promoted to the Premier League?
Second half of the season you have to have different options and strength in depth.
The Hanson signing in League One was a prime example; it gave us a different dimension at the top of the pitch.

I think we can all agree that we now have different options for the second half of the season. It’s almost like we splashed out on a whole new squad for the next 5 months, and it’s still only December. ;)
Stay loose and don’t take anyone too seriously eh?

Didn't do Bournemouth any harm

We have 4 strikers. Ones 36, ones 18 and the other two get injured alot.

Looking at our squad when everyone’s fully fit we don’t need anyone.

If we had a few million quid up our sleeve I’d say try and get a championship in form striker maybe Akpom? Blackpools Yates is more of a winger so he wouldnt suit our system

Hogan on loan again just someone with a bit of pace that can change a game?

Clarke Harris (P’boro) & Aaron Collins (B rovers) might be cheaper options both in form.
