So would you go? Did you go this year, has it changed your mind about going again.

I said in 09 that I wouldn't go next time, I didn't.

Would I go next year? I'm undecided.

Think I'll be making one. I said exactly the same as you, but was also deluding myself into thinking that if I didnt go it might change our luck. I dont know why because I dont believe superstition. Suppose the result just proves it .

More than likely go - out of a sense of duty more than anything else.
Same this year - it costs too much and I still feel sick (which will last a week or two before it goes numb) but I will probably be there again if I can scrape the money together to take at least myself and Ken Jnr to the game

I will always go. No problem with those who don't.
In a dramatic moment I asked the Mrs. if I die you must always go and tell me about it in my grave.

perhaps if we get the west end i might go.. yesterday i felt like an extra in the chronicles of riddick.. stuck on Crematoria

Teams you want in the play off final - Reading (Prem), Bistol City (Championship), Preston (League One), Leeds (Championship) and Sheffield United. So its either Preston or Blades reserves then for next season's POF.

I,ve said no chance but i will actually be away next season didn't go yesterday and probably wouldn't go even if i was here i said never again in 09 and meant it.

Didn't the Blades reserves win the title this season????? Given it was meant as a piss take, it might be a good call.

Txt my mate the same
Was in the corner in the shade for first half but as the sun came round that's exactly what I thought of

Won't the play offs be a Old Trafford next year as the European Cup final is at Wembley. That could either change our luck or add to the grounds where we've lost!

I'm going to try something more pleasurable next time. I'm gonna find an old rusty vice, hang my balls between it, then turn the screw slowly.

Of course, I'd be at Wembley. Even more pissed to numb out the pain. A pack of Stella's failed yesterday....:D

I guess I'll have to go because apparently you're not a real Blade or you've got no bottle if you don't. I'd hate to be accuse of either by a keyboard warrior.

The joy of eventually winning one will be so much more intense than any other football fan will ever enjoy due to our serial failures.

Will Darren be turning the handle?;)

Not sure I will know what to do in such circumstnaces Sitters - probably sit there stunned as I have for every other POF I have been to.

I remember during the pens feeling that even if we win the shoot out it wouldn't feel like we have won anything really. It was ours to lose and theirs to gain given the league positions.
Poor game, felt sorry for all players having to run around in that heat.

Actually, if it was at Old Trafford I might go. The expense of yesterday is the main reason not to go, not the ultimate failure. I reckon it cost best part of £450 for the four of us and that was with 3 concessions and a railcard! Mind, I wouldn't have begrudged it at all had we won :(

Asking me now, and if you'd asked yesterday, and the answer is no. Another trip to watch mediocre capitulation while sat at Gas Mark Bastard after supping four quid lager and SF's Patent Cough Medicine, sweating like Olle at a spelling competition?

Fuck that. I might even book a holiday for the end of next May now, just to completely rule it out.

Ask me in 50 weeks though, and I may have changed my mind. Might be fifth time lucky......

Greek wedding type celebration for sure. I'll have a week off and pip my hooter and wave smiling to everyone. Thats when I dare to get back in the car having been pissed for at least 3 days.

First of all unlucky for yesterday I thought you played the better football but they had the better chances, that is a horrible way to go out.
I don't think you will be in the playoffs next season, the 3 teams that went up are better than those coming down, I think you will win the league next year and us 2nd hopefully.
Everyone who comes down to league 1 has a bad first season Charlton and pigs were mid table last time so I'm not sure if Preston will be better next season, they could be up there.
Good luck next season, hope you bring another big crowd to Mk.

apart from yourselves and maybe Swindon ,I cant see anyone being much of a threat next season.

Agreed, though it does depend a fair bit on what we do ourelves. If we don't find a half decent (third division) striker then we can forget it.

if i did, i wouldn't try to do it on the cheap as i did yesterday - although on the cheap consisted of over 100 quid spent anyway. crap seat right down at the bottom in the sun gave no sense of what the hell was going on in the opposition half, and way too long spent on trains. would need to put up the cash to either stop down there, or get a quicker train and pay double what i did in the process

only plus point was the euston tap really, cannot recommend that place enough. right outside the station (hence just a few minutes from KX) and surprisingly reasonable - heck it sells better lager cheaper than my local

that is actually quite a good point, seeing how the Big Cup final is at wembley i would assume they shift it there. heck, it'd save me an absolute packet, my season ticket to work would do just fine
