I’m just concerned that’s literally our only option now. Clearly can’t rely on Sharp & Jebbo is out. Might have to look at getting Osula backBubbling along nicely, this new front pair we've discovered. Not quite a Sharp & McGoldrick double act just yet but think we really know what our best front two is now.

Club has the option of an extra year. Still needs sorting thoughAccording to Transfermarkt McB's contract ends at the end of this season. Think that should be a priority to sort out during the wc break
That's a relief then, but yea should be sorted. Also, throw in a new contract for Ndiaye while we're at it!Club has the option of an extra year. Still needs sorting though

We'd very quickly be facing a points deduction due to EFL Profit and Sustainability rules.

These are my views, basically. We have limited loan slots, all looked like solid or exciting acquisitions on first impressions, but a few have failed to make the essential impact needed or to stay fit when you're both aiming for promotion or needing their contribution because others are out. With Jebbo & Brewster out long-term leaving only Billy as sub , do we have any power to recall Osula in January ?
If not , we need to get another loan striker in as backup , if we want promotion.
Do we have the right to send McAtee back if we can find a replacement creative midfielder on loan in January ?
If Clark cannot prove his recovery from injury & match fitness by January , can he be sent back if we can find a replacement LCB on loan ?
I accept we may have no money for transfer fees in the next window , but McAtee & Clark have done little to help us at a time when injuries to others have bitten deep.
Personally I believe Khadra could be useful , though he's had hardly any involvement.
For the promotion run-in , we need 3 loanees of first-team starting standard who can stay fit.
Obviously Doyle has been excellent.
At least its better than what will happen with BrewsterMcBurnie has been brilliant this season. It would be the epitome of Bladeyness for him to be shite for ages, for the money we paid, to then become good/invaluable to our play and fairly prolific and we then can't afford to keep him here.
Do you think another club would offer him £50k a week? If not, his agent might ask for it but if he’s not going to get it anywhere else, it’s just an opening offer that we’d refuse.Again it's impossible to negotiate anyones contract when we've no idea what our income will be next season.
His agent will easily demand £50K a week, so we'd be facing points deductions and possible admin by overspending.
We could put in clauses that we'll pay him £10K a week whilst we're still in the Championship but he then wouldn't sign it.
How long is McB likely to be out after a hernia op? I've heard out till the new year after the Cardiff game. That's a fair few games he misses.![]()
Maybe you should tell him that because he thinks he wont miss any gamesHow long is McB likely to be out after a hernia op? I've heard out till the new year after the Cardiff game. That's a fair few games he misses.![]()
