Delighted to hear that Ahmedhodzic is in his own opinion, 100% fit and raring to go.

I was concerned about McBurnie being diagnosed with an operable hernia, then I listened to Carl Asaba saying he played with a hernia for 4 months!

Would you start Bash at LCB.? Which is the better man to replace him up against quick players like Swift?
Clark or JLT?

A few on that list expected to be back in January. RND and Bogle are the two we may not see again this season.

Annoyingly no one else to comeback pre world cup now other than Clark and Stevens.
Where's your information come from making a statement like that!
Bogle had a set back will be back after World Cup,
RND has a bad hamstring problem! Unless he nèeds an operation he should be back in January. Lowe has a serious problem having already had an op on his hamstring ,yet you don't mention him.
Have you got credible info
or are you just stiŕing things up cus you enjoy it.

I’m telling ya. It’s too much cardio and not enough football. That’s why we have injuries and our ball playing is somewhat dreadful

Anyone know if George came off injured? 0 reason for him to be brought off. He was feeling his leg as well I think

If you train a team for high press, with few options to rotate, then you'll get injuries. Look how much Pep rotates at city and how many Leeds players get injured.

We could play at a lower tempo, but then we'd not do as well. It's a catch-22 really. The real solution is to sign more athletes because most of ours aren't. We also need more height because McBurnie had to stay on today as we're short.

Brewster sadly seems to be a bit injury prone. Had a fair few in such a short period. Let's hope Baldock and Bash aren't too bad. I think Baldock may have been precautionary but we'll see.

The one good thing about an early kick off is that they'll get a tonight and tomorrow just to rest up.

I would imagine Hecky was shitting himself and thought it best to save our only right back and Basham.

Potentially 3 injured today
Brewster obviously
Bash swearing at himself after the big tackle and then subbed?
Baldock? Although nothing caught my eye with him so fingers crossed both Baldock and Bash are ok

Have to say I have never known anything like this in 50+ years of being a Utd supporter

I think the subs for Bash and Baldock were precautionary.

I was wondering about them two myself Bash did look uncomfortable and I’m not sure but thought I saw Baldock indicating his hamstring- I’m hoping that as others have said it was precautionary though

Hecky on why so many hamstrings in the past year?

Nature of the game and some players are prone to it.
If you look across the game now a lot more players who are physical and powerful are picking up more serious injuries
I looked at data in 2010 for the sprints that players do and it's doubled
We maybe have to look at protecting those players more

If there's any complications with McBurnie's surgery during the world Cup we'll be looking at coming back with only Sharp fit

It really needs looking at. The amount of injuries is beyond bad luck now. There is something fundamentally wrong.

The fact is that at the moment it's overshadowing every result, every performance. It seems to be at least one key injury or niggle requiring rest, from each fixture. I can't recall anything like this, and I can't recall the last time we had most of the squad fit and available. It feels almost inevitable every match day and I don't know how we stop/break the cycle?

The more we have our, the more we flog the match day squad or starting 11 into the ground. The more tired they get, the more we risk injuries to them. It's a downward spiral. Not only that, but those who were in great form earlier in the season, but could be rested a tad to maintain stamina and that form, are now being run into the ground or are already injured.

It's ridiculous and I don't know what the answer is. It is the very thing that risks derailing our season. Recruitment has been good, squad spirit is good, playing style and creativity is excellent, but... this.
