He restored a system the players were used to, made us more organised and we had some star quality. It was nothing special but it was a good effort. Fair play. But the 5 year contract was insanity.

He showed many of the same limitations last season away from home in particular. I've never had him down as a promotion manager at this level. But then the best argument is 'Scott Parker'. I hoped, after the transfer window, we could keep the momentum, capitalise on others starting slowly, run away with it a bit and hang on and go up. That was our best bet IMO. Now we've wasted that possibility when it was on a plate for us. I lay most of the blame at his door - including for the injuries to a large extent.

I'd have criticised him if he'd "pulled mcburnie off" not in front of kids it just wouldn't be right, although if he'd nodded that one in at the end I'd have pulled him off.

Agree with hindsight it was the right call but I’d have taken Sharp off. Brewdog has all the attributes but still waiting for them to click into place for us
