O.K. we've lost Ched for the final 3 matches of the season. This was always a possability and the reason why we've had him available for 43 matches.

No trial and he would have been off.

Lets count our blessings, thank him for his goals and go out on Saturday and WIN

Yep we should at least be thankful he didnt get tried at Xmas or we could be no where near where we are now

Or perhaps someone else would have stepped up and bagged most of the goals he has scored. Pigs keep saying we are a one man team and unforutunately our own fans seem to agree

ManU and Arsenal aren't one man teams but where would they be without Rooney and RVP ? Whichever way you look at it, Ched is a massive loss to the team and there's no-one available for the last two games who can come close to what he added to the team this season. Others can offer something different and we should still have enough to do what needs doing but I don't think anyone can under-estimate what a loss to the team this is in more ways than just the football.

Lets keep reminding the rest of the squad how shit they all are and how we are fucked without Cheds goals. That should help em big time. Ever heard the phrase control the controllables? We can't control it that Cheds unavailable so we should give 100% support to those who take the pitch as thats what we are left with. If we keep believing the one man team stuff how do you think our own players will react?

O' Halloran has a big part to play I think. He hasn't really shown us what he can do yet. Now's your chance, son.

I'm unsure on O'Halloran. He looked fast but quite unwilling to close down opposing defenders. From what i've heard he sounds a faster version of BT.

He's very, very quick. I think it was after the Bournemouth game that I posted that we're not used to having a striker like that and so the midfield aren't playing to his strengths. Kevin McDonald has the range of passing to really turn defences if O'Halloran is running through; we just need to chance it. As my manager in the GT Sports League used to say...hit the channels!

That's not what I said, I said he's a massive loss but we've still got enough to do the business. Just pointing out that ManU wouldn't necessarily win the title if Rooney was ruled out for the rest of the season and they're far from a one-man team.

We'll have to see what DW does Saturday. As you said play to the channels would work. Would like to see him run at a defence to see what he's capeable of.

don't think he is unwilling Nath.. i reckon he is naturally a winger who doesn't know the role fully

Let's face it, he kinda knew he was previously 'cover': now he's got a direct part to play and I'm sure he'll relish it - which upcoming younger whipper-snapper wouldn't.

As you say Chapel - now's yer chance kiddo. Love to see him bag one (or three) on Sat :)
