As each set of games get played it is all falling into place for us, all we have to do is be professional and take the chance given to us. Looking at our last 6 games the pigs last 6 and the teams round us this is how imo it is shaping in our favour.

Blades
Playing a mid table side tomorrow at home who have to travel many a mile to get to us not to mention nothing to play for. Rochdale fighting for there lives we will have to dig deep tuesday but i think we should have the quality. L Orient i think they should today there season is done can't go up can't really go down golf clubs in hand. MK Dons i think last week blew there chance of have a pop at 2nd all of a sudden our game looks a little easier as they will have an eye on the playoffs. Stevenage at the lane, another defeat for them today so the playoffs looking a tough task i think by the time they come to the lane for the 5.30pm kick off the playoffs could be out of there reach. Exeter City another defeat today and i think they will be down come May 5th.

Piggys
Got a very tough game tomorrow, udders win in midweek will have given them hope that 2nd is still within there reach so they will go all out for 3 points tomorrow and i for one hope they get them. Oldham at swillsborough don't need to say much here nothing to play for expect a home win. Colchester away showed today they will play until the end and i can see a draw here simply down to them enjoying steady form at the minute. (not sure pigs order of games) Carlisle another point away today for them and 6th place in there sights but with notts county breathing down there necks 6th spot could go down to the last day and they will be fighting for every point. Brentford tough to beat also having a go for 6th may be out of there reach soon but very difficult to beat on home turf. Wycombe also pigs will be heavy favourites Wycombe are fighting for there lives and if on the last day them can stay up they will be no pushovers.

Like i said as end set of games get played team we have to play seem to have less to play for and the piggys opponents seem to have more. There games are looking increasingly tougher them ours. I will still stand by my prediction that we will get promoted live on the box.

Don't discount Huddersfield just yet, I've said for a while that they will be the team to watch

And Carlisle.....

omens and form guides are all worthy pointers , but us having the best squad is the real reason we will prevail
man for man , we are just better

Dont underestimated MK dons. They could slip out of the playoffs so a win vs us would be a big boost

I so hope you're right davidpinder, but football can be a fickle beast. I was looking at ours and wendy's fixtures today and with both of us in good form and confidence i can see us both winning most of the games between now and the end of the season.

For example, i could well see a situation in which the pigs and huddersfield draw tomorrow, we win to go 4 pts clear only to draw with mk dons and stevenage (both decent sides), with wednesday winning their other fixtures to send us level on points going into the last game of the season.
With our superior goal difference, we would then just have to match their result, but it would still be nerve bitingly close.. sound far fetched? I'm not so sure

I would absolutely love it just love (sounds familiar) if we went up in 2nd on goal difference of 1 goal over Wednesday

oh the joy, theyd be so close they could smell it, oh the agony theyd go through
excruciatingly wonderful

and a semedo own goal making it 3-1 a consolation goal on the last day last 3 minutes causing it

Well I'm sure! The Pigs are not good enough to win 5 more games: nowhere near.

87 points and we're up. You'll see.

Yes, even I'm beginning to 'get that feeling'. By Tuesday night we'll know a lot more but even if it doesn't go as well as we hope, we've got an immediate chance to get back on track a week today.

Yes, there's still time for unexpected blips but as has been said, I think we're good enough. Carlisle lost 2 points yesterday to an injury-time equaliser. The key in this division is to get 2 goals ahead. It'll win the majority of matches.

The only downer for me is if we get auto and the pigs are in the playoffs. The coverage for them in the local 'media' (Wednesday Wembley Bound!!! etc. etc.) will far outweigh what we get.

Fire 'em up, Danny!

If we overtake Charlton and win our last 6 and the title ,The Star will still give all the headlines to Jones says we will go up too, then Jones says Carlisle are beatable then Jones says we will win promotion next season, definitely , and on the inside back page itll say Wilson happy with season on the monday then diddly

weve gone about our buisness in a quiet and proffesional manner all season,we dont need the coverage like the`massive`get-the fans know what were about any road.
