Personally think Berge is overrated.

He got hyped up by the media for having a good game against Liverpool and Klopp praising him.

But apart from that I don't think he's done an awful lot and isn't that much better than someone like Daehli in the Norway squad who plays in the second division in Germany.

We're both using exaggerated rhetoric, I said that Berge isn't expected to contribute to matches which is extrapolated from what you said, you claimed that people think Berge should score a hat trick every game which self-evidently no-one has ever claimed.

I don't really see a difference and that one of us is using a strawman and the other isn't.

Not to coin a cliche but we’re all blades and want the best for the team. Like him or not, I think we all hope he can show that talent consistently

The first half might have been his best 45 for us. He pulled the strings and showed a defensive side to his game we haven't seen enough. It's about consistency: if he can find the mentality to do that 30 more times this season we go up.

He was excellent today and if we keep him we give ourselves a much better chance at promotion than if we lose him and don't use the funds on the first team.

I just hope he isn't trying too hard to force the issue behind the scenes.

I go to the matches with the Mrs. No way would I want him to take his top off. Its bad enough with it on.

Anyway, Sander was good today. Millwall weren't offering much resistance though to be honest.

As much as I'd love him to stay and be brilliant, I still think we would and should accept any bids £18m+ (ish) for various reasons. Performances like that might encourage a bid. Only time will tell

If we were able to reinvest the money, maybe.
If not, I'd rather we went for it this season and kept him. We may not have a better chance again with parachute payments drying up.
